Seeing that System Sensor low frequency sounder combined with the 4251-20 reminds me of what’s in one of the hallways of my elementary school. There was originally a Simplex 2901-9838, but I assume it died, so they just replaced it with a System Sensor low frequency sounder that looks exactly like the one in this video

Cool test, glad to see another 4251-20 in service! So I imagine that this is able to sync up to P2R's etc without a problem?
There is a simplex fire alarm with voice evacuation. It also plays a low frequency tone. It sounds like your alarm.
what is the difference between a high frequency tone and a low frequency tone

I like the low frequency one. It is louder because low frequencies cam travel farther and high frequencies travel less but really high frequencies can travel way farther.

Matt Miranda speaker strobes do voice evac, and horn strobes only do typical alarm tones.

Does anyone else think the low frequency sounder looks like a speaker strobe???
My knowledge of US fire alarm is extremely vague, but from what I can gather it uses a speaker instead of a piezo.
