Agreed. I was unnerved by Lori and Chad’s casual and unserious demeanor as they attempted to make an innocent bystander complicit in the concealment of the children they had murdered and buried.

Chad's "visions" of Tammy's early death were double benefiting for Chad.
One, life insurance move on to bigger and "trimmer" pastures in his eyes. Two, he'd told his visions enough in those few years prior so he could then prove his "visionary talents"..

Interesting when Jason said that Chad said, " My children are good at keeping secrets." It will be interesting to see what secrets his children will keep in their testimony. I hope that they do not lie for their father. I hope they realize someday that their father is demonic and his teachings caused a lot of people to be murdered. My favorite part of Jason's testimony was that he is the steward of his family and not Chad Daybell.
My neighbor is another person who uses scare tactics to control people so she can seem all knowing and superior. After a long-winded chat with her I am unfortunately informed of All the wrong doings and evil people in our neighborhood. I just let it go in one ear and out the other. Jason does too.

Very odd if he married a woman two weeks after burying his wife that tells you he was up to something earlier on before his wife's death meaning he was already involved with another woman during his wife Tammy being alive at the time, he is not going to marry a woman he just meets in a week or two after his wife's death. I’m glad there’s a couple of witnesses who actually felt that Chad’s delusional and resisted his manipulations. Jason and Brandon protected their families just as they promised god and their wives when they got married. Ian did a great job in reporting to the police abt Melani’s wild “zombie” beliefs. I still have a hard time believing how gullible these people were. His visions were comical and the pendant… just mind blowing 🤯 He behaved like a fortune teller or a tarot reader but with appetite for murders. His children remain loyal to him. At least, Colby believes the prosecution.

Everyone in this case is either clueless and weak-minded or pure evil. It’s painful to listen to them speak. Chad and Lori laughing and saying the police are “just bothering” people and being nosey about trying to locate the missing kids meanwhile they have already brutally murdered them and buried them. The fact that they thought they could get away with it just proves how stupid they are.

His children are grown adults who desperately need to see the consequences for their father’s heinous actions. In addition, the jury is not to consider the impact of the punishment upon the family.
