  • In 2023 the WA government agreed to pay a settlement of over a $180 million dollars back to thousands of Indigenous people who worked on stations and were paid little or nothing for their work.
    ABC Indigenous reporter, Tom Forrest, takes a look back into history at one of the first Aboriginal owned cattle stations in 1979, and how it created self-sufficiency in the small Aboriginal community of Billiluna, located in the Kimberley region of Western Australia
