That was a remarkably honest and accurate video. Most influencers (especially on podcasts and in Dubai) lie like crazy and promote unrealistic business concepts.
I would make this and other business videos from Mike obligatory in schools, to educate people at an early stage about what to expect in the entrepreneur world. The learning curve of a successful businessman is the best education one can ever have. Amazing content, thanks for sharing Mike!

What makes it worse Mike, you like myself have physical products which need restocking, it's a whole different ball game from digital courses, not to mention shipping headaches. Considering your very very isolated niche of influencer/social media content creator I'd say you need to prepare for a seachange.
The era of free money, artificially (and fraudulent) low interestrates and insanely corrupt monetary policies is over.
It's dying if not dead already and it's visible in social unrest, ever increasing wars, conflicts, deteriorating social cohesion, unsustainable levels of debt and even greater distrust in government, journalism and institutions that are captured by activists.
It all ties together and I truly believe at some point, something will break in the realm of social media. The model based on ad-revenue isn't sustainable. Neither is the subscription-model. It's been a hell of a decade, but prepare for massive adjustments.

I'd say he's probably already set for life so doesn't need to worry about any change. He might not be able to live in a penthouse in Dubai forever, but if he's been smart with his money, he probably has enough tucked away to live a few lifetimes.
Hey Mike, up until a month ago I'd never heard of you, but I've enjoyed catching up on your content. This is a great video, showing that it doesn't always smell of Roses out there. I've bought some shorts and a great Tee just to see quality & if they fit a lesser muscled specimen like me (LOL) as good as they look online ...and they are superb, so I'll definately be back. I think it’s important to highlight that there are plenty of successful businesses out there. Most go by the mantra of if its not broken don’t try and fix it, meaning, the businesses that are successful out there, see what they are doing that is working and apply that to you your own business.

Great intell, on startup.. I live in Central California, own and run a high end mobile auto detailing, company, I have had for 15 years,I branded myself. Not ez at all, my attitude, is stick with the basics, educate your clients, show up on time, and offer a fair price, and return phone calls.. I work with a lot of celebrity's , the nice ones.. That Hormozi quote is ridiculous. It’s basically saying never to give up on a business. It’ll make people go bankrupt. Sometimes the business savvy is knowing when to give up, not just be deluded and believe it will work eventually.
After 15 years of being a solo entrepreneur, I really miss having colleagues. It's quite boring to work alone from home for 15 years. So the truth is I had way more fun and a much better social life when I was employed. The only positive now is I have total freedom and I don't have to work so much as my business for the most runs on autopilot. But not sure I would have chosen this path if I could go back in time.

It gets lonely for sure. Introverts like me are completely fine, whereas extroverts might struggle big time. However it’s all worth the time and effort because it will turn one day - but then us introverts struggle because we have to actually go out and deal with “networking” haha.

Mike was wondering, how much your yt is making you by month and if its your biggest income source or your clothing brand? I noticed your vids and thinking that maybe make like 2-3k grand each ? based on the views and an avg cpm of 12-15? or am I saying crap?
The truth is he has the finances to build this business from the money he makes out of this channel, and given the subs he has, his products are being viewed by a huge audience, it can't really fail...
Being a business owner is great, but the social side of things is nonexistent.
I'm trying to move my business to dubai with investors I'm looking forward to it but the stress is crazy thus is my third business been running in the uk for 8 years but had enough of the uk life and feel in the middle east we will do much better 🍗🍗❤️
