The Update for Vampire Survivors went live with some slight changes to the new character Space Dude with the weapon Phas3r and it's evolution Photonstorm. The character has an insane passive for a chancer to re-trigger attacks, while the evolved weapon has a luck based chance to attack multiple times. Combine these 2 things together and you get a crazy weapon.

Hi Mr. Dex maybe you missed my comment because I commented later. If you don´t know where is a red gem there is a consistent setup for that. After you pick up all the exp move diagonaly. Let´s say to south east. Then, the red gem will always accumulate in the oposite side. Means north west corner. It works all the time. Just remember the direction where you move the last time and then don´t move until the next growth cicle.
Nice job upgrading Amount and Luck as Space Dude and his primary weapon benefit from both of these stats! Photon Storm sounds just like I Feel Love by Donna Summer and Giorgio Moroder lol!!!

I have that too with the paranormal scan I think it has a catch up system
So basically the higer a certain stat is, the lower the chance of getting that stat. That way they all end up being around the same number.

I got a golden finger on one of the standard stages (either dairy plant or Mad forest, I can’t remember) exactly once. It was almost directly after my first astral stair run so I didn’t think much of it. Funny that you point it out now bc I havent seen one since.
I've had gamer thumb. The best thing you can do is try to rest it for a bit. You can also put a pressure sleeve on it (there's gloves and individual finger sleeves you can find online), since it's a tendon that's been overworked essentially. That'll allow you to still use your thumb while giving it the support it needs.
Dex, please go to the doctor and get a brace for your thumb, you _really_ don't want to fuck around with RSI, carpel tunnel or anything like that. The earlier you treat something like that, the better. Early treatments for conditions like that will make the rest of your life WAYYY better, and there may be physical therapy, exercises and stretches you can do to prevent the continuation of the problems, and potentially event prevent the progression into something more continuous and unabating. Plleeaassse go to the doctor and physical therapist just just in case. _Especially_ if there's the potential of it being Carpal Tunnel.

Yeah, there's a few bugs in this game.
For instance, on the mobile version, the 'Just Vent' weapon causes damaged enemies to run away and prevents enemy spawns entirely after 1 minute, and also it can't be upgraded or limit broken.
It's really annoying, because it's impossible to evolve the weapon, so I'm stuck with one quest left, and a weapon I have to permanently have sealed to prevent me from accidentally getting it and ruining an entire run.

Yeah, the Gold Fingers are possible to get on normal stages, but super rare. I only just got my first one earlier today on Mad Forest, and I've had the Astral Stair completed for over two months now.
I also had that thumb issue. But I had to get a surgery :/ I hope it will get better for you
Hi dex, rest your hand a while, and get a ergonomic mouse. One where your hand is in a position similar to when you shake a hand.

I think I made the comment you were referencing. I guess there was a misunderstanding, because my initial comment confirmed your experience: with 3 weapons, my kill count went down to about 800k IIRC. I did get my highest kill count on Abyss with Ophidian and Supernatural Scanner only (IE: 2 weapons, not 3) with ~960k kills. That is, it doesn't sound like your game was bugged, but as you theorized in your other video, splitting the level ups between Ophidian, Scanner and another weapon is less viable than only splitting it between the two.
Playing on Polus Replica was much, much easier to get over a million kills; on my first attempt on that I got just under 1.2m kills using the same strategy (Je-Ne-Viev with only Ophidian and Scanner), compared to trying on Abyss around half a dozen times with a few different characters/strategies. The worst attempt was with 3 weapons instead of just two, but I still couldn't break 1m kills on Abyss no matter what I tried.
Removing the weights sounds like the solution

I've also never gotten a non stage golden finger. The drop rate definitely needs to be changed, the wiki doesn't even say the chance, just that's it's extremely rare.

I think your insta kill is pushing back the boundary of the enemies and therefore ur shrinking the enemy spawn area. Thoughts?
I've gotten the Golden Finger a time or two outside of Stairs. Extremely uncommon for sure.
I got a gold finger the other day, I can't remember what stage though. Either Abyss Foscari, Lake Foscari, Library or inverted cappella magna, I know those were the only ones I played.
What’s the point of actually limit breaking the paranormal scan? What does it gain with stuff like area? It just heals you periodically and obviously gives the stats. But those are tied to just cool down which already gets maxed out.
