Antique mechanical musical clocks played melody on toothed comb picked by rolling spiked cylinder. Nowadays we find easy to record and program the melodies played by such clocks and music-boxes, connect to speaker and install in the quartz clocks like this. On those times clock makers took much hard efforts to manufacture such antique mechanical musical clocks.
I bought mine in 2004 in Bar Harbor, Maine. Since I was on a motorcycle trip I had them ship it to my home in Hollywood,Fl. I currently live in Ecuador and the clock is still on my wall.
This clock is called CTS Nostalgia and it's a retired model. I really like the popular melody selection! The thing that I don't like about older Rhythm clocks (like this one) is that they have only 3 Christmas melodies.
Well i hope is a good investment, i just got this one and i'm here sitting waiting for the Christmas songs to play . I hope won't get stuck in the middle of a melody . 🤣🤔
How do you set the time on this clock? Instructions are in Japanese, I don't get that. Love the clock, it was a gift. Setting the time is a challenge. There are just two gray buttons behind
My parents have this clock and I loved just listening to it as a child

The beginning of the music sounds just like only Time by Enya
