This came out in 1975 when I was 12, and it's still one of my favourites. I found out years later that Freddy wrote it around the time of his "coming out", and the references to death were about him "killing" his "old self" that had conformed to his family's expectations, and letting his "real self" come forth. Just remember it is a drama, not a documentary, so should be viewed as taking a whole lot of literary license, with a lot of facts mixed up or just wrong. But it is a fun movie and I really enjoyed it.
I’d recommend watching Queen: Days of our Lives before watching the “Biopic”.

I just saw your reaction videos today and appreciate your perspective of different eras of music. This is an iconic song that most people are either scared of because it's hard not to be compared to the original. Sweetie, as somebody said for your birthday get yourself some headphones. For bohemian rhapsody you missed a whole other layer to the song not having headphones. Also, in my opinion, somebody reacting to music has to have headphones so you can hear all the subtleties and nuances. This is freddie's song. It is the most iconic song by the most icon Group ever. Freddie was so far ahead of his colleagues then, which this was released in 1975, and he would still be leaps and bounds ahead of his colleagues now. I don't know where you heard Acapella and There is nothing pop music about this song. That is pure talent. No autotune no backing tracks, Just talent. Rhapsody means a piece of music in Several movements, sections, With an emotional Point of view.

I first heard this amazing song and a lot of Queen's music when I was listening to my father's records while he was away at work cause the Tv was broken. I was maybe 8 at the time, been listening to all kinds of music from every genre ever since. He had one HELL of a record collection! That would've been around 1986 but this song has reached the top 10 and number 1 on the charts in multiple decades. A lot of kids in school only really first heard it and started talking about it after "Wayne's World" in 1992.
