- Here's Johnny 1989, singing Daydreamin'. Love the energy Johnny exudes - great dancing action! (Great interview as well- adorable). Particularly wanted to share this for all the UK fans so eagerly awaiting Johnny's return this fall. Released in 1988 on a 3 track 12" Vinyl LP, specifically made for the UK market, it became a big hit. The song was written, produced, and all instrumental parts played by Preston Glass. Please enjoy!

I was a background vocalist on this record. Preston Glass is a very talented gentleman! But the piano solo was played by Jim Studer, who at the time was playing with Al Jarreau...

this would have been perfect for V.98.7 a Smooth Jazz station I used to listen to in Detroit. How did they miss this gem? Very nice.

Think I was 16/17 when I first heard him.......been a fan ever since..... been to numerous concerts here in UK and still a fan and......hate to say it but am nearly 80 now!!!!!

just watched this for the second time and realized how relaxed with the song and interview he was , the open jacket , that dance , that laugh was so funny and he seemed to get lost a couple of times ,it very is nice to see him so candid and relaxed, in previous interviews he seemed very controlled ,may a little of that cooking sherry becfore the show, how cute! thanks for posting

Johnny sang this very nicely and even did a little dance here. Very cute. He always looks younger than his age. So handsome. Even today, he looks much younger than his years. I always enjoy hearing/seeing interviews with JM. Thanks for the upload.
