I've had my S7+ for a year and it feels new (I spend 15 hrs/week using it). czcams.com/users/postUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS I use it for reading, viewing social media, email, and playing an occasional game. Some 'computers' feel slow and antiquated after a month of use. With the S7+, speed feels as fast as it did when I bought it. Because I don't use apps that are heavy on graphics, I get a respectable 7 hours of battery life before I recharge (I juice back up when I get to 20%). While the S7+ is 3 year old technology, I see no reason to upgrade to a S9+. S7+ is a good value for 99% of what you would use a tablet for.

Well Asus vivobook 13 can be used as a secondary device & not as a primary device. It's performance is seemingly well but can only be used for certain types of work. It can provide a good multimedia experience.

I want more companies to come up with this concept of a Windows Tablet. Only Lenovo and Avita made it possible with the Ideapad Duet 3i and Avita Cosmos. Would be great if they can make Windows tablets around the 30000-40000 price range

If Asus makes an i5 variant, with OLED, it'd be a perfect replacement for iPad Pro. Pentium ke saath with pen na log illustration kar payenge, na photoshop, na Lightroom thik se chalega.

None of the current tablets in the market, be it any iPad or any android tab, is an alternative to a PC.
Still a long way to go for this tab. Needs a much better processor but that would mean better cooling system which is difficult in the limited space that the tab has.
Anyway, a tab in the right direction!

Love your videos. Just a suggestion, for unboxing videos just shoot a section when you are actually unboxing the product and then you can shoot the rest of the video. In this way we will get genuine unboxing reaction and also it doesn't look good when you say that it was already unboxed and the product is already outside. Hope this makes sense. Keep up the good work

For the stated purpose, in this concept category and at this price point, probably Android based Samsung Tablet S7 FE would be better option. Or better still a Chromebook at lower price.

with windows, its really a great device, and this is a secondary device. But whatever, i5 would be a reasonable variant for use. Then it will be better for people using different os. Sometimes few apps are not good on one os so people can use this as a secondary to use the app... @ASUS ,please add i5 at least so that we can use this for reasonable secondary device

Asus did a great job in form factor, it's almost better than samsung tabs but I doubt the processor would handle anything beyond normal task. Samsung tabs or any laptop might be a better choice for a student.

Asus could have squeezed an amd R3 or maybe and R5 in this form factor ( R3 would have been a better choice). N6000 is not a very good pairing with windows 11 as it has its own GUI thats uses up some compute power. But maybe asus had a reason to use a N6000, and maybe we'll get an amd version in the near future. Who knows
this pc is worth buying if they set its price below 35-40k

What about a variant with Ryzen 5000 series processor? Nowadays, many handheld gaming devices are shipping with those processors and as far as I know (I might be wrong here), they do not contain any fans, and are most probably passively cooled. So, this tablet cum PC, combined with Ryzen 5000 series processor would be a game changer.
In my opinion, if you want to spend above 60k for a tablet, better get an iPad pro. 120hz , m1 processor...too much powerful for video and photo editing. Or else consider samsung tab s8... which i think is still not available in india, but still a very powerful device.
I see no point in spending 60k+ to buy just a media consumption device. Wo to 15k ka android tab bhi kar sakte hai.
iPad OS/Android is limited, They don't support web apps or extentions. They can never be a PC replacement at this current iteration. This product is targeted to specific audiance, It's more of a surface pro replacement

I can say this device is for me as an architect professional, I have to take Zoom/Google meet call every day and has to do use Microsoft word heavily and can also be used to view photos to clients on the go instead of opening a full fledged laptop.
Note: This cannot replace my work laptop where I have to render images and have to do other heavy work.
This is near about replacement for Ipad Air if you prefer Windows and want a bigger screen.
In other words, It's a windows tablet.

I don't know who asked Asus to add OLED, instead they could've removed OLED & for that cost, added a better processor.. Bcoz remember as a secondary device, we have our iPads /Android tablets.. Asus always commits minor mistakes when launching gadgets, remember all these phones have below par camera..
Actually screen is costlier than CPU, cpu difference is hardly $10-30 for a better core I series processor but screen difference would be $100 atleast so ASUs just got cheaper cpu for saving money :(

This is a very capable device with underpowered specs. This Windows tablet could have been a proper laptop replacement. I mean Win 11 is so much better for touchscreen devices than Win 10.

It's way too costly according to me. For a touchscreen, OLED display and Asus pen, 62990 price is not justified. If it's targeted for multimedia consumption, then Samsung tab s7/s7+ is definitely better choice, because those tabs are also having super AMOLED displays. And if you add cost of ms office, it's around 7000-8000 rupees for lifetime. Anyone can easily buy tab S7/S7+ and an MS office subscription. I can't get the point of launching this product.
I personally own an Asus laptop with Ryzen 3 3250u, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd, with ms office subscription (yes the display is IPS), and it costed me around 35000. And I have to say my device is more powerful than this tab.
Actually i am in the same boat.
Planning on on getting a device on which I can take digital notes and also have good multimedia experience. I was looking at iPad and Samsung galaxy tab. But i needed oled so i pad was eliminated. Then for galaxy s7+ price is 51000 and will only get 2 more year of updates. And its android. So this seems a better deal at 63k. Full windows, oled screen, can take digital notes, can also be used as a laptop for editing documents and writing mails, and also have amazing multimedia experience.

Microsoft Surface is already in the market. Initially, the surface was launched with i5 and i7 processors, but it failed in the market due to a heating issue which affected the screen started flickering after working for an hour with no heavy usage although it had a fan for cooling but due to the lack of cooling chamber. so powerful processor in compact and kind of slimmest devices is not successful in devices like Asus vivobook and all.

At this price, imo one should go for iPad only. The functionalities it gives are way better than these devices which are akin to mobiles. iPad is way ahead from the perspective of its Pencil usage and UI experience.

I use samsung android phone, dell windows laptop and apple's ipad(got 6th gen at 19k and pencil costed 8500 extra). Ask anyone using ipad, how great the user experience is. If only media consumption is your target go for any tab, but if you want to read and write like physical books or want to work on some productive aspect go for ipad, if looking for tab only.
As an engineer who works with integrated electromechanical systems, this is a wonder. It's annoying to do 3D modelling in softwares with mouse, now I can use tablet.
For some damn reason, there aren't even softwares available for ipad, even if there are, its not industry grade.

It will do better if it comes with arm chip. Snapdragon 8cx gen 3 will do a lot of good to it. 8cx gen 3 will be 3 times more powerful and also very very power efficient. obiviously price will increase by 5k but that will be worth it and make more sense for this type of device. Plus Android apps are coming to windows 11. I see lot more devices like this releasing with better socs.
