It's incredible not to see the rather blatant homoeroticism between them to begin with and to know that the actors went a long time without getting along-- just to pull the moonlight scene off the *way* they did? -- the way every single one of Craig Charles' lines is Lister saying "I love you" over and over and over and in character, Chris Barrie making him say it because Rimmer wants to hear it-- *needs to hear it* -- this scene just DID THINGS TO ME and this amv captured it all. Bloody brilliant.
