I LOVE handwriting without tears for kindergarten. My son had major problems with handwriting so we changed to hwt and it has been a game changer! The chalkboard and wooden pieces have been great 👍
I’m having the same problem with writing. I really need step by step how to write. I don’t want any grammar or other things mixed in just writing good sentences, paragraphs, stories, research projects, letters, ect.
IEW is a great writing program. It worked well for my reluctant writer. I've heard good things about Writing and Rhetoric too. Essentials in Writing is nice, but it has the grammar component. Finally, I've heard good things about Evan Moor 6-trait writing. In addition to IEW, we do Real World Writing from Evan Moor.
@@jop4112 IEW is so expensive. I tried EM 6-trait but it had grammar mixed in and got confusing this year. I’m going to try spectrum writing and then real world writing too next year. I think, but I can be persuaded to change my mind.
I like Scott Forsman D’Nealian. It transitions in to cursive in grade 2. We have loved it. It’s not a super fancy cursive which I like. It’s also not too expensive on Rainbow Resource or Christian Book. It’s more on Amazon surprisingly.
