Yes! I choose the date when I want school to end and work backwards skipping weeks I know we will take off so I know exactly when we need to start.

I don’t know how I tumbled into this video, but I am glad I did! Just today, I have decided that I am not sending my son back to public school. Like me, he understands numbers and enjoys anything math related. We struggle with writing and ELA. I hope you're not offended, but I'm gonna show this to my husband so he gives me some grace 😂😂😂 because we have 7 of us in 1100 sq ft, and I have a book problem. I have homeschool stuff under our bed in a tote, in two tall bookshelves in the dining area off the living room, in come stacked cubbies in a nook before the dining room next to a computer desk which is also in the nook, and I have some puzzles and stuff in our entertainment center. 😅 Hopefully we'll get more space some day hahaha! I love your homeschool space ❤

Do you go through your books and donate ones you don't use anymore or ones that are no longer age appropriate? That might help a little.

We have a school house. I wish I had a room to keep it all in, but it works for us. Most of our schooling takes place in the dining room or on the couch.

I spent a year perfecting a homeschool room in our basement. Six months in, my children decided they wanted to do school in the kitchen. A year later, we are still homeschooling in the kitchen! But I guess it works out cause I can get all my cooking for food processed while we do school, lol.

It is so funny how much we can accumulate. You guys can eventually get the Beauty and the Beast Library.

My girls absolutely LOVE the Prince Warriors series. My older daughter (rising 6th grader) reads super fast, so in order to “keep up”, I got this series on Audible. It’s been great to listen to in the morning during breakfast, while I’m giving their hair, etc. Audible doesn’t have book 4, but we’ve listened to book 1-3 MULTIPLE times. BTW, I’m a first time homeschool mom- gearing to start at the end of August. Thanks for your content!

Another suggestion is Heroes in Black History by David and Netta Jackson which is a similar to Heroes Tales from MFW Exploring continents and cultures. Also, could you link where your whiteboard (in back of you while filming) came from we are in need of a new one.

Prince warrior books are soon good. My 12 year old son and I read them together. We are on book 3, and we love them. We also talked about these books becoming a tv show with series. So so good. ❤

Thank you for sharing. I tutor a little girl who just doesn't see the joy in reading. These are great books. You should do a summer reading video of any books you've read over the summer. I plan to add some of these to my classroom library.
