One month postpartum and wish I would have seen this when I was pregnant! Congrats Violette! I love what you said about just letting go and embracing this time and body. It is something to remember postpartum as well! It is hard to look at the home (body) you’ve known for so many years shift to one you don’t recognize. But so worth it, you’ll be so love drunk that you won’t notice it most days. Embrace every minute of it, even the bump and swollen bits because it won’t be that way for long and you will appreciate how powerful that body is when the time comes!
As a 2 times mum I really enjoyed the vid, but I would really like one about post pregnancy style: the breast feeding issue, the mummy tummy, the difficulty of getting back in your old clothes and the fact that your shape may have changed, etc... nobody talks about this struggle that for me was worse than pregnancy dressing.
I really like the new format of the channel!!!
I really really want to see some stylish clothes for all these issues that you mentioned. I havnt lost my pregnancy weight and sometimes I feel that I can only wear my sweatpants and oversize shirt. Or choose some Kardashians inspired extremely tight and showing to much outfits.

Oh my God, I loved it!!! Does Allison work with the Kibbe's body types? Cause I would love a series with recommendations of different looks (feminine, cute and girly, daytime, evening, edgy/artsy, elegant, sexy, glamorous, badass, business) for the 13 body types!
I've been really getting into this lately. My type totally makes sense and lucky enough it fits what styles I've been gravitating towards lately. This system, along with color systems, may seem outdated to some, but really help to streamline best choices and explain why some shapes and colors aren't ideal.
@@ln1299 Yeah, I agree! But knowing my type, although helpful, is not enough. Cause it's not the same, for example I'm soft Classic, if I want a more edgy look one day and the next one I fell like looking more feminine or girly, the changes that I need to make are not at all similar to the other body types. Now that I know my body type I would like to know how to play with different looks that would always suit me cause at the same time I would be respecting my lines. I want to learn how to play with my style but always look good 😊
@@cintiacin8526 I'm soft classic as well. I can't remember what video I watched recently that addressed this. The vlogger said soft classics can easily add a piece from another style and that we actually have the most flexibility with incorporating other styles as long as soft classic is the foundation. I see this in my own choices. For instance, I have a few chunky jewelry pieces that work for me as long as all of my other pieces are soft classic. If I did multiple pieces in another style it gets overwhelming and looks costumey.

I'm five months pregnant and this video spoke so much to me! My second trimester is pretty awful and I've been struggling to adjust my clothes to my constantly changing body, so THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this video!

Hello Violette - I LOVE this video. I am currently 2.5 months and thinking of a capsule wardrobe so this timing is perfect. This is super helpful, and I would love for you and Alison to do another video about spring/summer pregnancy capsule wardrobe looks too since those seasons are coming up!
Allison says she is shy to be in front of the camera but I find her one of the most watchable people on CZcams, along with you, of course, Violette
Its so good to see this video!! When I was pregnant a year ago I couldn’t find anything like it. Loosing my style felt like loosing my identity and it has carried on while I am nursing. There are just no cool nursing tops out there and as Violette said it’s weird suddenly being top heavy. 😄Its not the end of the world, but becoming a mum feels kinda seismic, so being able to still dress like yourself helps, as you navigate all this change. I have my fingers crossed for more chic mum content. Allison rocks!

You look so beautiful, Violette! I hope that I will look just as chic when I am pregnant. I am worried about how I will feel, but this is giving me a new perspective that I can treat it as an opportunity to try new things and silhouettes.
Absolutely loved this!!!! That last outfit was my favorite - probably because it’s more my style... except I would switch out the heels for flat ankle boots or white sneakers:) I also loved the shorter black dress with the tall camel boots!!

I’m 38 weeks pregnant and I struggled too in the beginning with the weight gain! Subconsciously ended up with a capsule wardrobe, aka things I’m always wearing! Surrendering is truly it, it’s not just about me, it’s also for my baby ❤️

This is such an awesome series. Would you ever consider working with older women？ I just think it would be awesome especially when around the holidays and your younger demographic is looking for gifts for their moms? Really - I would take anytime since any change in hormones just messes with you! Or a Mom and HS or college student? Just mixing it beyond the 18-35 year olds. ... that moment when your stylist says „... no he‘s just an asshole...“ I nearly fell out of my chair laughing, soo refreshing! My kids are 16 and 13 already - I still remember that amazing feeling when the baby moves inside your belly - and then the birth - you‘ll never forget that moment when you first meet them - the love is beyond anything that you can imagine. The only thing I miss at times is my pre-pregnancy belly. The skin doesn‘t ever quite go back to how tight it was. ☹️ Wishing you all the very best, Violette!

I have always had a large bust and can spot some problems I face with tops. My personal opinion and experience would advise to stay away from turtlenecks or1 too high collars. Go for v shape or wide and round necklines.
