I have a 2020 gt with a MBRP pro catback exhaust. I can confirm that the cold start is extremely loud and I thought my neighbors would complain. Once you get out of the neighborhood then you’re fine. Best sounding exhaust system for the 5.0
I bought an H-pipe….then decided to grab the C&L muffler delete as well, took maybe an hour to put it on, and yeah…I wasn’t expecting it to be that loud with the cats still on. When I finally decide to grab my longtubes im gonna have to grab some mufflers as well.
@@jaaay-r4650 that’s the thing lol, with the mbrp cat back you get a deep tone no matter what because of the cans, so if I change it to a x pipe in the higher rpms it’ll scream a lot more, it’s like the best of both worlds but Imma make a video on it and letchu hear how it is compared to the h pipe
I have the same problem. My neighbors hate me. So I have it set to start in quite mode from 3am-9am. It’s still a lil loud but helps a lot. And All I have is the Borla switchfire

After I installed mine I went and spoke to my neighbors cuz I was worried about the same thing lol they are old ppl, but they appreciated that I went as far as to actually talk to them about it. Sure, it's not my responsibility to make sure they are happy. But it goes a long way to make them feel like you care about them and don't want to be a nuisance.

I know it’s not quiet but I just love the fact tht I can make it quiet with stock exhaust but I love that it sounds loud when you step on it

I had the same thing on mine, had to take it off cuz it kept starting in normal mode 😂
Put an H pipe on the active exhaust, deeper tone with a bit more volume.

....that cold start is loud and aggressive on the race version...the street version is alot less loud and less aggressive
