@comment russian gas is bad for certain countries like Germany for example in many ways. More than 1/3 of Germany energy comes from Russia which is why the nord stream pipeline "maintenance" combined with russia using energy as a financial weapon has been so detrimental to them economically due to russia halting production. The other eu nations warned them against putting themselves in a position of being SO dependent on foreign energy and warned them of the possible ramifications if the plan goes south years ago. They did it anyway, the plan went south , and they are paying the price for that.

No he did not. Federal lands are not the major source of production. While I disagree with Biden's policy regarding Anwar and Keystone current production is actually quite high.
Biden cannot stop oil production on private lands and with crude prices rather high companies are drilling because it is profitable and production is at record levels.
Honestly I think we should go full speed ahead on all production including coal. We should have been doing what China is by building coal plants all over the developing world and then supplying the coal ourselves.

I work directly in the oil fields of North Dakota. I do work in the whole process of building a well pad. From breaking ground to starting holes to drilling holes, guild wiring, flow back, regularly servicing, production water, break downs, maintenance and everything else I didn't mention. Times are slow. Covid hit us hard like everyone else but but Joe Biden has been worse and for longer. The specific oil company I work with is producing half of what we did before Biden.
