If you read the lyrics to Fight From The Inside, you could tell that Roger was the one in the band that had his ear to the ground at that time. You can almost interpret the words as a warning to the likes of the Sex Pistols and The Clash. Maybe I'm wrong? Discuss.
It’s not true that Freddie didn’t have experience, he probably took at least 5 years of piano lessons, had a band called The Hectics as a boy , then Ibex which became Wreckage, then he was in Sour Milk Sea before Smile , which became Queen and Roger knew all that of course
