Great video! Your instructions and video presentation were excellent - so easy to see what you were doing. I have not done this type of binding before but now I will definitely try it. Thank you very much.
@@JanomeJAI I took your words of encouragement and gave it a shot....turned out pretty well for my first try. I used my new Janome QOV machine and I love it. Thanks again Joanna, I look forward to more of your tutorials
Thank you so much .. I'd love to see your channel but i have problem with the subtitles, its covered with pink-white shadow i don't why; I'm not english speaker so this writings on a screen is important for me to understand better .. is there any solution for that ? Thank you
Did you use a different method to miter the corners because of the decorative flange? Or, could what you did always be an alternative to the traditional method of mitering the corners?
Hi Linda! Thank you for watching! There are lots of different ways to bind a quilt. This is my favorite method and the one I tend to use most often--and this is the method I use to miter the corners. You can always use what's easiest for you and play around with trying new methods too :)
Excellent tutorial!! Thank-you!

I love to quilt and I still struggle with my binding but I really love this binding technique and I can’t wait to try it out. Thank you.
You gave an excellent presentation. I use an orange stick ( cuticle stick) to assist me in working the fabric towards and under the presser foot.
This needs a graphic with the measurements of the cuts so that we can use for reference. otherwise very clear and easy to follow tutorial.

Why do you bring the bobbin thread up each time you start sewing?
This is done to avoid nesting underneath for a clean back.
