    I have the smart 1500. Got it about 3-4 weeks ago and think it’s the best bang for your buck as far as an electric toothbrush. Has everything you need without the extra gimmicks and expenses do not provide a significant dental benefit.
    Thanks for the video.

      Hi Andrew. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The Smart 1500 has been our top recommendation for a little while now, so it is always fantastic to read comments like yours that reconfirm how good a brush it is for the money. 👍

    Would have preferred the Pro 1500 because it looks even more simple but I just ordered the Smart 1500 as it appears the Pro 1500 is no longer made

    A real shame to lose the Pro series. As someone who brushes other people's teeth, the manual dexterity loss in the sleeker design is substantial.

    Thanks for the video. I ordered the pro 1500. I was able to get it cheaper and prefer the more powerful motor than the “whitening” mode that I’d never use.

      Been about 8 months now and love it. Definitely a big step up from the Vitality. Holds a charge very long. Only thing I wish is that it’d give you more heads up that the battery needs charging. Basically the only way you know is the motor speed cuts (I’m assuming into sensitive mode) and then I charge for my next cleaning. But have to use sensitive mode for that particular cleaning.

    I want to thank you so much for this review I just received my Oral B pro 1500 it is outstanding!! I am so happy it is the best Oral B I have ever purchased.
    One question due to an over eager orthodontist in my youth my teeth got straightened too quickly as a result the tooth is not as rooted as it should be. I have lost one of my back teeth already and taking Biphosphonate for osteoporosis. I wish I could get an implant but concerned about the risk of osteo necrosis. I would like to strengthen and improve my gums have you heart about a vitamin for gum health called Dentitox pro? Would really welcome your feedback. Thankful for my Pro1500.

    Which is noisier? And it looks like the Pro 1500 button protrudes a bit but the Smart 1500 is recessed?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před rokem +1

      They are basically the same in terms of noise produced. Yes, the Pro 1500's button is convex rather than the concave design of the Smart 1500.

    Can you please address how you know the Oral B Smart 1500 has 3 cleaning cycles? On Oral-B’s website they state there are only 2 cycles, Daily Clean and Sensitive. All of your videos state there are 3 cleaning cycles.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 2 lety

      I know because I purchased it and it had 3 modes.
      It is possible they have changed it since I bought mine.

    • @dhueshs4
      @dhueshs4 Před 2 lety

      @@ElectricTeeth perhaps posting an updated clip prior to these videos on the smart 1500 only having 2 cycles now? I went and bought this after watching all of your videos on this model and was bummed there wasn’t the Whitening mode as that’s the cycle I used most on my previous Oral-B.
      Update* Was able to return it, noticed a Oral B Smart 2200, ever seen or heard of this model?

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 2 lety

      The change in specification came after we had recorded all these videos. It is a relatively small change and doesn't change our overall messages about this brush. However, we take on board the comments for future content.
      The reality is the whitening mode gives little benefit. It isn't much different from the standard daily clean mode. You get limited 'whitening' effect from that cleaning mode alone.
      We have heard of the Oral B Smart 2200 but haven't tested it. Almost identical to the Smart 1500 as far as we are aware, with a different brush head. Not sure how many cleaning modes it has.

    Ive been on the oral b website and it feels like they use all this diversity in models to confuse the hell out of the buyer. There's no real easy way to compare them.

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 8 měsíci

      I agree!

    • @yessum15
      @yessum15 Před 4 měsíci

      Correct. They perfected the product with the Pro 1500 and every subsequent model has introduced some downgrade:
      - Hackable useless bloatware and wireless connectivity
      - Sleeker and more difficult to grip product design
      - Non-standard brush head attachments
      - Useless brushing modes that provide worse cleaning performance
      - Shotglass chargers that accumulate and trap bacteria
      And so on.
      The website is purposely one of the most poorly designed websites to conceal this fact.

    Living in canada, it's a pain to figure out how to buy a pro 2000 or smart 2000, they often get mixed up and Oralb.ca doesn't show the smart series, but the USdoes. Yet the Smart series 2000 is targeted toward Canadian customers (Flag on box)

    • @ElectricTeeth
      @ElectricTeeth  Před 3 lety

      I think they are in a transition phase, moving from Pro to Smart hence the confusion. They could make it much simpler than they have.
