We were due to land in Jamaica on the 10th of July , super excited our first time, but sadly we can’t stay at Sunset at the Palms in Negril it’s closed till later this month, devastated! From your video I notice the trees that felt on the road may have power or cable lines, whether the power lines are live or not. Regular coax cable tv line also carry low voltage unless it is fiber. It is always wise to have the power company place new pole and transfer their line before any other utility companies. So I think that is wise the tree are still in the road. I am speaking as a telecom outside plant engineer.

We were there up until Tuesday and decided to fly out. Glad to see the damage wasn’t too extensive! Love Negril.
