    Great video step by step instructions and very good camera angles, I completed the brake job today front and rear with your video instructions the only problem I had was piston stuck on all wheels and I dont have that special tool to push the piston back so what I did that I loosen the brake oil cap and after 2 mins the piston pushed back in place without any hesitation thus made enough room to install the new pads. Overall 10 out of 10.

I don't intend to do it as fast and easy as you did, but I know that thanks to your verbal and visual instructions, I will be able to do it. God bless you, and thank you very much again for your effort and work. keep going.

BTW, Why did you change the sensors??Were they are working ok and it do not seem like any damage on them or is it just good preventative maintenance practice and are they just a 1 time use only item??perfect!! thanking you in advance

    • @Zeiten
      @Zeiten  Před 3 lety +1

      The sensors are one time use, if you are replacing pads when they have 30-40% left then your sensor can be reused, but if the number is below that the sensor gets grinded and cannot be used with new pads also reset won’t be possible in that case

    Thanks for this brake change video!! I can do it!!
    I have a question for you regarding my 2010 X5. I had been told it was a fuel pump issue, and I thought it was a fuel filter problem. It started 3 months ago, lasted about a week, and then it quit doing it.... then, it started doing it again and has been doing it consistently since we thought we stranded out of town Labor day in Sept. The car cranks with the push button starter, but won't turn over. Thus the thoughts of it being one of the two mentioned fuel issues above. I had figured out though, that by getting out and rocking the car from behind a few times, swishing up the fuel inside the tank, it then will start. It will restart every time I shut it off if I drive places, until it is shut off and sits for several hours. Then the NO START thing happens again..... until I rock it again. Could there be something inside the tank that blocks the fuel uptake tube or hose? Or could it be the fuel filter?? It just seems to me that if it were the fuel pump, it would have stopped working all together after 3 months, plus why would it work ok when fuel was swished around? Just thought you might have seen this issue before. I bought the vehicle used in June, and have not found a repair place yet, which I obviously need to do. Thanks if you have any thoughts for me!! Doug

    • @Zeiten
      @Zeiten  Před 2 lety

      Thank you, regarding your issue it easily can be fuel pump and those are the signs of it going out seen plenty of that, also can be fuel pump control unit but all of that is just guesses, inspection is necessary
