- This week, I travel throughout western Nova Scotia, to enjoy coastal communities, local fare, and to wander in search of primitive roads. Time in the kayak is inevitable, as I happen upon numerous secluded lakes. I also enjoy some hiking and camping at Kejimkujik, and finally fix the troublesome sway-bar on the Jeep.
Amazing video, it was great to help you out. Good luck and save travels from Dartmouth Dodge.
Chris - on the weekends that I have my daughter, (she’s 6 years old) - we like to watch your channel. It’s become a Friday night favorite. She calls you the Orange Jeep Guy! We feel like we are on the adventure with you. We both enjoy it very much. Please keep them coming brother. Take care.
Alex Cazanas jejeje you just took the words of my mouth 😁😁, the only difference is that my boys are 15 and 19 years old... we love camping and explore here in Venezuela 🇻🇪 👍🏻👍🏻
Ha! My son is 8yrs old, and refers to this channel as the "Orange Jeep Guy" too!
My absolute favorite CZcams Channel
My favorite too.
My wife and I really enjoy your videos Chris. Thanks for not adding cheezy music and keeping it always G rated. Kind of rare these days. I was side lined myself six years ago due to a back injury. These videos allow us to enjoy something we'd love to do but aren't able to through your eyes. Your way of overlanding is just the way I'd want to do it. Be safe and seek healthy menu ideas from Marko - San Diego Jeep Club ; )
If I was a traveling man like yourself, I'd spend every summer in Canada. Wow !
Again waited all week, never disappointed!!!!!!!best thing on tv .you should have a discovery show!!!!
Agreed not disappointing, but no, then THEY will dictate formatting.
Even then you’d be limited to only so many episodes.keep up the great videos!
Welcome to Atlantic Canada! Glad you're enjoying my neck of the woods :)
Hola, grettings from Colombia South america. I really enjoy very much your videos, and i love that your dont use any music backround, just the sound of nature.... keep it up!..

Great content as always. I’ve been enjoying watching you travel through Nova Scotia as some of my Cajun heritage is from there. I’ll make it up there one day. Safe travels.
Thoroughly enjoyed your voyage. I look forward to viewing more.
Stumbled on to this video and glad that I did. I live in rural Nova Scotia and can understand your craving for such environment. Keep the videos coming. Well done and good luck.
Glad you enjoyed our province. Hope your trip through NL is going well.
I was waiting all day for this, thank you Chris :D
What a fantastic journey! Looking forward to the next leg...
Amazing views. and so much open land. Thanks!
Oh Canada... Chris thank you for let us see how beautiful it is.
This video is so relaxing. Thank you for sharing. I might have to get a rooftop tent for my JL. 😎🙌
With thousands of lakes, the norm is all by yourself. NS is a special place. We summer in SW Nova Scotia,on the bay of Fundy.
Happy your back on the road and doing well. You make my weekend. Hope to meet you back at ok 4 wheel drive.👍
I saw your jeep on the cabot trail yesterday around Ingonish. Now I see you on my recommended tab. surreal.
Thank you for this!!! My dream is to visit nova scotia one day. Breathtaking spots you found. 👍👍
Early Sunday morning coffee complete. Thanks Chris.
We love following your adventures. Welcome to our beautiful province of Nova Scotia and enjoy your travels in Newfoundland. Excellent channel and we have shared with our family and friends. Safe travels .
Chris’s video and story telling of where he is and what’s going on is epic! Truly the best on CZcams. He should have way more subscribers to his channel. I love going back and rewatching his video’s.
Love the video Chris. I'm native to Nova Scotia and still impressed as I learn of new places I have not explored.
I'm a dodge Chrysler Jeep tech and have been on a course or two with Craig, very nice fella.
I call this home! I know the cabin you stopped at, I've been there. Off-road exploring is never dull here. Enjoy!
Chris Nova Scotia looks really interesting, thank you for sharing.
Stay safe out there.
Fantastic visual reminder of this beautiful part of our country. Also, hugely appreciate your attention to detail on even the proper pronunciation of your location (even after the initial mispronunciations 👍🏼)!
Beautiful country, Chris.
I've lived in Nova Scotia a few times over the years and actually had the pleasure of traveling all over the southern end when working for Fisheries & Oceans - Small Craft Harbors doing structure inspections on wharves & skidways. There is a good reason why many people visit & revisit & then stay in Nova Scotia. Great video.
Nova Scotia will be added to the bucket list. The $1k to fix the sway-bar was worth it in my book. Convenience!
Back to the Future movies never get old! I look forward to your video each week. I found your channel not long ago and started at the beginning and have watched all your videos. Thank you for allowing us to follow your life.
Back to the Future. My favorite movie. One day I want to own a Delorean.
Very good cinematography showcasing the beauty of the province. If you ever visit again, Peggy's Cove is a more than worth-while stop
Another great adventure in Nova Scotia Chris and looking forward to other beautiful locations in the Canadian Province.
Thank you so much for your excellent videos. 👍
I was driving home from visiting the South Shore of Nova Scotia while you were making this video. I plan to show my husband this vid as I am trying to talk him into moving out there. Pure bliss. Thanks! You got yourself another subscriber.
Be safe my friend. Hopefully you make it back to Az someday☺️ Have fun and keep cranking out the incredible content 👍🏻🇺🇸
love your channel, i hope to do stuff like that when i retire... great video too
Love this, nice treat to get when returning from vacation
Great video Chris looked like a great week!
And turns out the tech who replaced your sway bar disconnects is an old friend of mine - heck, he helped build my Jeeps! Awesome! 👍
Well done sir. I traveled a great deal in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia and even to PEI with my parents as a teen. Thanks for bringing back memories. As a first time JKU owner at 60, I am ready to get back to overlanding! Thanks again.
Great excursion through Nova Scotia! Enjoyed it!
WOW!! You really stumbled over some gems last week!!!
Great episode like normal! I love that you're traveling north when the weather's nice. #LifeGoals
I love that movie! Seen it a million times!
Hands down a must see video every week. Nothing I watch on any media is so anticipated, absolutely the best commentary (No B.S. or amateur comedy), video quality, sound, scenic locations anywhere. Can't say enough how your videos inspire people to get out and do ! Love that Jeep as well even though I am a Land Rover guy. Never stop the seeking, you have no idea the impact you may make in people's lives that don't have the ability to do what you do.
Hi Chris you are an inspiration. I watch and look forward to every weeks video, you are living a true freedom lifestyle. I'm retired and setting up my 015, 2 Door Jeep Wrangler for overland adventure. I just got back from 3 weeks in overland adventure north of Lake Superior in Ontario Canada,Ive been doing this every summer for the past 3 summers, and every trip I learn what I need to make these trips more comfortable and convenient.I'm now installing stronger overland suspension springs to hold weight, and I'm installing a roof rack and roof top tent. I no longer want to set up ground tents and live off of ice coolers,so a 12 volt fridge-freezer and solar battery with solar panel are in my future as well.I loved your BC footage and I am really liking the east coast Nova Scotia adventures as well. I'm planning on moving to Northern BC or possibly the east coast. I really like the mountains of BC, I also really like the east coast rugged geography as well. Which coast has the more off road trails and opportunity for wilderness camping BC or east coast Provences ???
Anyway I love your videos and they are a huge inspiration to myself and my girlfriend who equally loves overland adventure and wilderness camping.
Do you ever hear from Jen, keep in contact, I wonder what she is up to and how she and her dog are doing??
Awesome man! Great filming!
Grew up spending my summers in NS. When you said you were going to Keji I was hoping you'd go out to Hemlocks and Hardwoods. NS is an amazing province for sure! Hello from BC!
Wow homemade shoefly pie in Boyertown. I'm going to have to stop in at the Jukebox Cafe to check it out. It look delicious and wet bottom shoefly pie is one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing Brother!
Best part of the end of the week!
Just happened to stumble across this video. Had I known you were touring Nova Scotia we would have had a place for you to park overnight with access to our pool in Windsor and I could have given you some pointers on places to check out. Enjoy the rest of your journey. Love your Jeep setup.
Your videos are very honest with all the imperfections kept in. Safe travels.....Onward and upward. PS I have some Land in SW Ontario on the water if you need a spot to camp along your journey.
Was quite happy to see this appear in my recommended videos, as I grew up in Kingston!
Also lived in Lunenburg for a summer as well, what a coincidence!
Glad you’re having a great time. Wish I’d known you visited Keji . I’m only an hour and a half away! If you’re coming back this way let me know. You’ve got a place to stay in the country, with all the trimmings! Oh, we’ve got FAST Internet!
My favorite thing about Friday!
I'm really glad you're enjoying Canada have you ever been down there looks like a beautiful place I'm out at the other end of the country right now in British Columbia Canada such a beautiful place.👍👍🍁😀
Beautiful camping spots Chris!!! Grilled cheese is hard to beat😁👍
I hope you enjoyed our province! There is a lot of old trails to explore as we once had an extensive rail system that has been turned into some pretty awesome trails
Awesome vid, thanks Chris🙏👍
First video I've watched from you. Really enjoyed your relaxed style. Nova Scotia looks like a beautiful place, must visit one day. ...subbed.
🎥🎥🎬 awesome footage Nova scotia's beautiful
Chris...I don't think I've seen a bigger smile on your face than when you had your gullet in that pizza lol... that was funny.
Great Video, I was in Nova Scotia yesterday for the mineral show in Parrsboro which is why I clicked on this video. thanks eh
Great video really enjoyed it
Awesome video. Cool to see Jeep updated the seal design on the electronic disco.
Great episode, would love to go there someday.
Pie for breakfast😉. Love the way you roll.
Saw you today in Corner Brook today. Welcome to Newfoundland & Labrador!
Really enjoyed this episode, I am from Nova Scotia. Was hoping to see you tour some of the beautiful Annapolis Valley or the Bay of Fundy where we have the highest tides in the world! I understand you are only here for a short trip, maybe we will see you here again!
Hey Chris, enjoy Newfoundland, it’s my favorite place in Canada beside Cape Breton. You should really travel around the Cabot Trail while you are here and explore the highlands of Cape Breton! Best part of Canada!
I do hope you go all the way to Meat Cove. It's one of my favourite spots in Canada.
Just found your channel. Great video of Nova Scotia. I was born here, adopted and taken to the US. I moved back forever in 2008. I can tell you why you were the only one at the beach location and why you got a spot at Keji. The ferry that runs from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, (where I am) to Maine, is not running this summer. That's due to a change of ports on the Maine side from Portland back to Bar Harbor. Updates to the Bar Harbor terminal need to be done before the ferry can sail from here to there. So the number of tourists is very low this year. So you came at a good time to find super spots to camp. Normally you need reservations for Keji way ahead of time. Will check your channel for your visit to Newfoundland. Look out for those humungous moose there lol.
Welcome to our Province. Found your channel by whim, but have subscribed for the good content.
Tell your friends about the great off-roading we have here. And if you ever wanted guided tours we have ATV clubs, Jeep, snowmobile, and off-highway motorcycle groups just itching to show off some of their favorite spots.

I think you might be the only CZcamsd who’s done Nova Scotia. Looking forward to seeing it
Found your video and channel by chance. As I watched, much to my surprise, the Walmart you slept at outside of Bridgewater is next door to my house! Small world eh? :-)
A jeep and a kayak in Nova Scotia.. you have to stop in Meat Cove, Cape Breton, honestly one of the most picturesque places on the planet
CORONA chillin' with your videos-cheers
I grew up there and was an avid Jeeper with the NSJC. I started the SWAT group in the club that still helps out during big winter storms. Such a great place to off-road. Amazing folks, too! 👍👍👍 (naturally, I live in California now, so it’s very different 😉)
Nice video. Nova Scotia is my happy place.
