I was in church one day a so call Prophet was there I was hoping he didn’t come to me he did , although he was in my ear God make it so that I didn’t hear a word he said in my ear . Other people in the church he spoke to I don’t see anything happen as he was saying it’s all a lie. And he wasn’t the only prophet I had an encounter with I was trying to get away from this one to but fail , nothing he said came through either. I whole heart agree with you . What I got from this message is the ones who calls themselves these things ...like the ones with the real gifts don't even want it - it takes a while for them to even understand the gift they have . All prophecy has been prophesied! There is no new revelation anymore, anyone who preaches the truth from the Bible is actually prophesying what's already been foretold by God's holy prophets. It is common knowledge that John was the last apostle. Nowhere in scripture does it indicate that God appointed replacement apostles when the originals were murdered except for Paul who replaced Judas. That is something that would have been written.

Yes the gift of prophesying can fall on someone through the spirit, but they are not a continuous prophet. You are not the gifts given to you. That's the point. The religious leaders that persecuted Jesus...and desired to kill him...used a lot of scripture to justify their resolve.
Ephesians 4:11-16. These ministry gifts are still in operation within the body of Christ. Each gift (apostle, teacher, pastor, evangelist, prophet) are necessary for the growth and development of the body.

God is speaking in these last days through his SON and HIS SON is his word and for those of us who receive the SPIRIT OF HIS SON, which is the SPIRIT OF GOD; The Holy Ghost we will spake THUS SAITH THE LORD. I whole heart agree with you . What I got from this message is the ones who calls themselves these things ...like the ones with the real gifts don't even want it - it takes a while for them to even understand the gift they have . I think the message was for us to remain humble . For example most prophets in the bible didn't walk up to people and said I'm a prophet they would say I am a messenger . Its the labeling and arrogance that is presented these days. Goes back to the many are called but few are chosen .

What exactly do we need profits for? Is God's word not enough? The reason that they had profits at certain times is because they didn't have a God's word to refer to. The term was used as a general term of respectful address and not as a descriptive term. The same way that some presidents of countries are called "excellency".
Those who are called to declare the Word are to receive double Honor/Reverence. Let us peak what the word says and avoid rendering our personal opinions., there is safety and power to change things by repeating what I AM /God says. 1 Timothy 5:17-18

Maybe you should read the Bible yourself. Hebrews 1:1-3. In the First Days God spoke to us through Prophets. But in the last days(since Christ) God speaks to us through his Son. And all Christ had to say is in a closed Canon. Prophesies in the New Testament 95% of the time means teaching and expanding on the mind of God. I suggest Justin Peters 4 Session's called Clouds Without Water.

It is common knowledge that John was the last apostle. Nowhere in scripture does it indicate that God appointed replacement apostles when the originals were murdered except for Paul who replaced Judas. That is something that would have been written.

Hebrews 1:1-3. It says basically God spoke to us through his Prophets, a Burning Bush and a Donkey in the First Day's. You see when people say God told them something that should have as much Authority as the Scriptures abd should be added to the Canon. Christ said not to add or take away. Those fakes are adding. Yes the gift of prophesying can fall on someone through the spirit, but they are not a continuous prophet. You are not the gifts given to you. That's the point. Yes it is written that young men with prophecy and old men will dream dreams (visions) but they are not prophets like in the scriptures. All of Yah's children, filled with the holy Spirit will be granted gifts, through the spirit. It is the spirit doing the thing, not you... Meaning, not appointed. It's sentenx and understanding.
