WWE changed a belt that didn’t need to be changed. I mean the new one is ok but the old one was classic.

It's like the oval remake of attitude era ic title and a similar colors of
nxt. They shouldve just changed the side plates on the classic ic title to mirror the new side plates of this version and kept the main ic classic plate and made the globe domed with the black and gold as you see on this new version

For those thinking that there should be blue, I agree. WWE could do a slight tweak. Recall that the belt that was revealed in 2011 had a strange-looking globe and a pebbled surface before being changed to more like the classic one of the 80s.
The leather that came with my cruiserweight was so good its probably my favorite replica belt because how good that belt felt. I was hoping this had the same material

I love this belt. Fantastic design. I like how they replicate stones by just etching them in. Not having stones makes it really look like a mid card title. I really love this belt.

I believe that it should be a black strap because we have been so used to the white strap for so long and just kind a give it a new feel the black strap should stay on the title but with the blue modifications
I saw your Instagram post of the 2019 IC main plate with the blue on the globes and the cubic zirconia stones around it. It's a vast improvement. I'd use a white leather strap and possibly different side plates other than the swappable ones WWE is always using.
A white strap with the black globes would look great I think. With all the black detail any color strap would make the belt pop along with the zirconias. I also think a darker forest green would also look good on this belt. It would be a retro throwback to the Greg Valentine/Tito Santana green Ic belt but with a darker better strap.
I liked the Black concept version. With the blue and red on the plates, the color really shows on the black strap.
I'd go for the black strap with words painted white.. also if you paint lines above and beneath globes on the main plate it would make the middle pop and give it more depth
The second idea with the black strap looks amazing to me because it reminds me of the oval intercontinental belt from the attitude era and the ruthless aggression era.
I would of liked to of seen some Blue sprinkled in there especially on the sideplates and the globes. Other than that, it’s a beautiful belt.
Also some diamonds added too.

Honestly I'm a sucker for the black leather strap. BUT if your talking about the blue globe on this belt I'd rather go white strap because it makes the blue pop a little more than black strap. Honestly I love this design with the gold and black with the black globe on it as well. The only issue with it that I have is that there isn't any stones on the side plates or the main plate.
Holy shit I wish theyd incorporate the white and blue strap for TV it looks absolutely incredible

I have loved the Intercontinental championship belt ever since the classic black strap belt when Shawn Michels won it, and now a new belt came along and its beautiful! I choose white strap
I like this new updated version of the Intercontinental title. However, I think there should be blue paint in the globes and maybe a colorized WWE logo also. Color contrast is important on title belts.

I prefer the repaint with the black strap but I feel that there should be either a blue or white backing to keep the "original" intercontinental title color scheme
the black strap with blue paint looks very clean in that image you showed. the white looks good though too. either is better then the original. but there is nothing wrong with the original as well. i was against it at first. but i do like it now

To be honest I would love to see you do two versions of the new Intercontinental Championship belt one with the black strap & one with the white strap, I do love the design of the new belt but it definitely needs more colour
The blue globes looks soo much better. I like both the white and black strap but I think I'd go with black purely because white looks amazing for a while but with the last white one, it got boring after a while. Black is more timeless for the belts.

Black strap and blue paint. I like that WWE have been establishing white straps for Women's Championships, so the IC was the only title that broke the pattern, and I like the concept.

Would the wwe championship side plates not just fit in place to save you restoning the ic ones? That way you would only need to paint them blue. Also I feel like you could make custom globes for the centre plate and just keep the screws exposed once releathered just an idea.
White strap for sure....it’s a timeless look for the IC championship and makes it truly identifiable.

It’s missing diamond accents. Around the WWE logo on the side plates and around the larger center plate. That would have made this belt so much better. Also the black strap with the blue accents looks dope
Either way it looks way better with the blue in the globes. I’d say go black strap since the white is more synonymous with the women’s titles these days.
I like the belt with colored globes on the black strap. I think you should also add the gems where they are faked. It would make the belt really POP!
Try doing the strap in a Midwest cut instead of copying the stock strap. Maybe it might give it a better look. Can go either black or white on the strap and it can still look 10 times better!

I like this one but out of all the belts that could have used a redesign this was the last one. I think the Universal title needs a complete redesign, although I do dig the blue a little bit.

I'm an old old school wrestling fan and don't like any wwe belts after the undisputed championship. This is actually a really nice looking belt.
I'd say do both so we could all see it real life. Over all both would be awesome and also you'd be the first one to have a better version both in white and black. At that point you'd get to see it every day and see which one draws you in more making you wanna pick it up and wear it yourself like the younger you would have loved.

That white leathered version with the coloring is AMAZING. I would buy that belt. I'm not a fan of this current version. Evidently it weighs less than the womens tag title.
Do a black leather version. The black and the blue globes makes it pop more. The White is nice but I feel this belt should be on black leather only.

The current IC title belt looks better than the Oval IC title belt but it is inferior to the 1985-1998 version and the 2011-2019 version.
White strap, clear gems on the center and side plates, dark blue globes. One more added thing. (intercontinental champion and w logo aside) I think the black in the grooves should be removed. So it's plain metal. Same thing with the side plate grooves.

It needs more colour. It's just so plain imo. Seems so lazy. Even though it does look somewhat detailed. Can't quite put it. And Nakamura isn't doing any justice with this title. Its barely seen on Smackdown.
White strap with the blue globes look great. And would make a nice nod to the previous white IC title with the classic design.
you cant go wrong with black and gold... and this title is anything BUT lazy. its looks like they actually tried to make a good title and they did a OK job... i would like for this to be the tag team title design or something like that
White strap would of been a lot better because cody Rhodes was the guy who brought back the classic intercontinental championship and the how the new design is..... it’s okay just wish WWE kept it blue and white instead of gold and black tbh!

Okay, so on one hand, the Black is a refreshing change from the last belt.
On the other hand, the White helps the Intercontinental Championship stand apart from every title today. This is hard, no doubt...
So, like for White, comment for Black! And I may try to mimic this using my own methods (nowhere near as sophisticated as Paul Martin, but it's meant for those who can't afford replicas LIKE ME!!!)
