In a world where people take 16-bit games and scale them down to 8-bit... one programmer wondered, "can we go even further?" Thus was born... the Atari demake.

A lot of the unique level design for this is genuinely better than the original, showcasing hazards in safe ways before forcing you into dangerous scenarios with it, forcing you to interact with the mechanics before moving on, etc. Whoever made this did a very very good job not only on making it authentic, but improving it where they could in well thought out ways that make it play better.

Bubble Lead is kind of useful for seeing pits in Wily Stage 4 (a design I'm personally not fond of because it was taught poorly). Picopico-kun's weakness is Bubble Lead, but Metal Blade is debatably better at killing it. And Heat Man is weak to the Bubble Lead, but I personally use the Mega Buster instead because the Bubble Lead ricochets off of Heat Man's fire pillars, which is a lousy design. So the Bubble Lead is only arguably useful at three points in the game. Truly an awful weapon.
      P.S.
