This is the trip report of my Etihad flight to Zurich (onward flight to Dusseldorf is partly included)! It was a wonderful night flight. To a great extent thanks to the empty seat next to me which allowed me to lie on the whole seat row.
Personally, i think etihad is the best middle eastern airline👍great video!

An excellent report on ETIHAD, I recently flew with them back in September, and I had the most enjoyable experience onboard, I'm very glad you recorded most of the boarding video as it has some of the best boarding and Arabic music around, well done mate :)

It happens often that cabin crew forgets to bring ordered drinks. This happens because so many things require their attention, and is normal. If you've waited for 15 minutes, just ask again. This happens at every airline.
Excellent report as always! I agree that the seat design, amenities and fabric choice are very pleasing. The fact you could buy F1 tickets is awesome! We are traveling to Europe next year on Lufthansa (747-8i) hope they aren't on strike! Frohe Weihnachten und ein glückliches Neues Jahr!
Their crew comes from all over the world, not just (or mainly) the Middle East & Eastern Europe. I meet their crew on the ground on an almost daily basis and the nationalities onboard are usually well distributed and they try to have as much languages onboard as possible.
I really like their mood lights, it really helps you fight jetlags if you have a really long flight.

I flew with Etihad 2/3 times from Brussels to India! Never had any negative experience on board or even at ground before boarding! Service was courteous and food good.

They are a great Airline, we have used them many times and will be again in October to Thailand.

Great report and a great video. Glad I saw this fresh video (when was this fly recorded?) as in August 2015 I am flying with them from AU to EU. It will be A 330-200 but I hope the seats will be same type and config. Older videos show no seat power or USB plugs. They must have had them upgraded recently. Good to see how the internet works. According to Etihad 1 hour is around AUD $14 but 24hr prepaid is AUD $25. Thanks again for a great video, and please make some more when you can :-)

Nice video! That is great to hear about the economy seats! I was surprised by that, because I don't think Etihad are ranked as high as Emirates, in terms of passenger comfort.

Wieder ein sehr schöner Tripreport! Das Ding bei 13:29 ist ein Geruchsneutralisierer bzw. ein Air Freshner, der ohne Sprayen funktioniert, sondern wie Kernseife mit starkem Geruch ist. Deshalb also auf der Toilette bei EY. :)
The legroom is 31" vs. Qatar and Emirates at 32." Makes a difference. Very noticeable.

it's been my experience with the gulf carriers as well that the cabin crews (except the pursers, perhaps) are almost to a girl eastern european or former soviet. i kind of had expected to see indian subcontinent or south east asian before my first flight with them back in the day, but nope.

The only good thing about Etihad is that it is a very safe way of flying, no in air accidents so far, however the economy class seats are good when you are less then 5'5" when you are unlucky to be taller its like hell as u cannot place your legs well.... PLEASE DO NOT SIT NEAR THE AISLE unless you happen to have a set of spare elbows with you ......mind the rude flight attendants too !

Excellent flight report! Wow, I dont know you can buy gold bar from the ATM, how much gold can one buy? The cheapest gold bar how much? But can you carry gold bar thru the custom in ariport? Immigraion will ask questions here in Sydney.

Knowing that Qatar offers cheap fares and plans to send their A350 to Frankfurt, it is indeed a huge temptation. I can't promise it as of now but yes, it is likely. Stay tuned!

I want to fly qatar a350 but also emirates a380 (Never flown any of them before) but haha i dont know relly what i should go for, little hard time going her in sweden about thinking what to choose, And Emirates fares are so high from every airport in europe.

I am considering to take a flight with Etihad from Munich to Phnom Penh. But hmmm... I am not sure... I've been traveling with many airlines and Qatar Airway seems to be top for me. what is your overall experience, regarding Airport Facility?

Hello to all fliyers passengers ...i had fly all over the world with many different air companies ...well if i have to rate Etihad for the basic comfort that any passenger expect in a fly ..from one (very poor ) to ten (excellent ) i will give them an 8.5 ...and this is for a regular flight in economy class . Just for the records ..no, i do not work for this air company and no, i am not getting any sort of gratification because this positive comment Thank you and have a good flight next time .

Ho acquistato il biglietto a Febbraio con i posti a sedere prenotati 44A e 35A,mentre il mio amico l'ha acquistato a Dicembre con rispettivi 44C e 35C. MA PERCHE' A QUEST'ULTIMO GLI AVETE CAMBIATO I POSTI CHE ERANO GIA' STATI PRENOTATI? Ma la cosa che mi ha fatto più schifo è stato il mentire sul secondo volo,dicendo che l'aereo era pieno,invece davanti a me c'era il 34A e il 34C vuoti oltre a qualcun'altro posto.AVETE FATTO SOLO PENA!Io ne ho fatti parecchi di viaggi ai tropici con compagnie della Star Alleance,mai avuto un problema,ho voluto provare con voi quest'anno anche perchè c'era questo mio amico che con voi aveva già volato,e tutte le volte gli avete perso la valigia,anche quest'anno nell'andata,gli è arrivata in albergo dopo 2-3 giorni....Siete un disastro! Who in their right mind who use this airline. You'll be going through abu dhabi. It is not safe. They can arrest you and torture you and you have no rights. If they even find medicine on you that is legal in your country but banned in theirs they will jail you as a drug trafficker. It's madness.

July, 2018 This bit of company propaganda is so far out of date and false now. Etihad has crashed as far as service and food are concerned. It has become the low service airline, the dollar has to saved where ever it can.
