Both are great in my eyes. Both great Actors.
Gotta disagree, OG Makarov just brings such massive intimidation whenever he's on screen especially with his actions. New one just doesn't have that.
I think reboot was more of the joker. And had many more military power than og.
Although reboot will have more screen time prove himself he is Makarov.
Then you one blind mf
I feel it’s the reverse. The reboot feels more Joker like: Animated, louder, more cocky. OG Makarov was so mellow, he spoke just above a whisper and he was unflappable. New Makarov feels like every other Marvel or Batman style villain. Whereas OG Makarov had something unique you don’t expect from villains: a softness in his speech and mannerisms.
The OG was a action movie villain with little to no back story with no redeeming qualities. And that was a good thing. The new one has more personality and few redeeming qualities but has BIG shoes to fill
I mean old Makarov felt like a genuine enemy/threat to Price that you can feel the bit of that tension and well new Makarov is just a wet sponge.
Old Makarov just felt like a little bitch hiding behind his minions the new one actually seems to go out in combat I guarantee you the only combat old Makarov has seen is no Russian
you seem mad? the original Makarov was spetsnaz so he's incredibly experienced@@user-qg4zb6jt9s
Old makarov
Displayed a threat and gave off fear
The old no russian was more planned to show makarovs intentions
Him and price talking in mw2 (old one) during the ending airport scene was amazing.
@@user-qg4zb6jt9sold Makarov Fight Against the FSB at the Zakaev Airport with only 3 guys. And he's Ex Spetsnaz.
@@vontenezkaiserii8131and thee new one is ex-VDV and ex-spetsnaz too lol
Old Makarov had a very "less is more" approach as a villain. He barely ever shows up, but when he does shit hits the fan and he's a massive threat to our protagonists. He was kind of intriguing because he's never around yet his presence is always felt.
New one isn't bad feels a bit more standard evil baddie with a crap ton of plot armor doing whatever the plot demands.
I agree, that’s why I loved OG Makarov and considered him more terrifying because you never know when he was gonna show up and cause mayhem.
He still reminds me more of the OG Makarov than New Shepherd reminds me of the OG Shepherd
OG Makarov was mysterious due to very little appearance, but man was he indeed menacing at every spotlight.
New one felt like a highschool jock with daddy issues.
Don’t act like og makarov had tons of plot armor too😂 also he was a very one dimensional character compared to the new one. Art of show and don’t tell as opposed to the old one.
Yeah him being seen so rarely really emphasizes how hard is he to find and why that makes him so dangerous
OG Makarov: legit threat
Reboot Makarov: G.I joe villain
The new one isn't great but Vladimir Makarov has always been a cheesy villan
Julian Kostov I think a perfect choise for the new Makarov the only thing makes his Makarov more weightless is the horrible story wrinting…
I dunno man, cobra commander could be threatening when he wanted to be
New Makarov has a accent while "trying to speak russian", even the face phenotype doesn't match, he looks like a Romanian/Bulgarian mix instead European Russian.
@@jellyjohn7881anything else 🥱
The old Makarov is legit terrifying. Like if someone of his caliber existed in real life, it would be terrifying. The new Makarov just feels like a glorified gang boss with unnecessary plot armor
Julian Kostov do his best as an actor hes a perfect Makarov we can agreed with that… The only thing that makes Julian’s Makarov more weightless is the horrible story writing….
My heart fucking sank when in MW3 when trying to protect the president, you open the shuttle and Makarov is just right fucking there and shot you.
I was not ready to see that man again after MW2, and here he is.
Edit: The dude also had the guts to have a chat while I was bleeding to death, then after the chat he executed me after. Its like he intentionally wanted me to listen the whole conversation and then just kills me after. 💀

OG Makarov embodies the saying: "Speak softly, and carry a big gun." New Makarov lacks the calm flow that radiated from the OG. The old Makarov practically floated through things, no effort, no care. That's how cold and in control he was. New Makarov just doesn't possess that same aura.
Big facts
pretty sure i heard a space marine say that quote
truth, this man is a psychopath and insanely self reserved. he doesn't talk that much and when HE TALKS. that's where you just listen. the OG makarov is better than this new one. big talker with a big plan. jared leto's joker for the new makarov.
Also, the old Makarov is to me the most deranged looking human character in any piece of fiction. The new one looks like a food blogger.
@@dudeguy8553 You can absolutely see that OG Makarov was meant to look wolffish. Wolf-like qualities with his hair, features and physical build, and his heterochromia (mismatched eyes) made him all the more unhinged looking when he stared at you. It was a brilliant character design.
That MW3'11 Makarov in helicopter and "Mission Failed" message is one of the greatest moments in video games for me. It so great and surprising on narrative and meta level.
Even after all this time it still trips me up. Like I did everything right and still failed.
especially with that menacing guitar in the back. wish they did more scenes where they let you soak in what happened
the old Makarovs voice was menacing, and sounded like an actual villain, the new voice just dosent hit the same
it's never going to hit the same, but at least the new guy is trying

Yeah, while the Makarov in the newer MW3 is calculating, the OG Makarov just sends chills down your spine with how he speaks.
LITTERALLY. you know that every time he comes on screen he never disappoints. his voice is so menacing
Nahhh... New one was a plot armor pansy. The OG was a man of the shadows, you never knew his plans until a train blows up. And then you have to steal or trade multiple intelligence reports from a dozen countries just to figure out what he was doing.
MW2 and MW3 just feels exactly like things are normal and typical until you few missions later you found out what that bastards wants to do.
Subtilty... Is an art.
The original was calculating, too, you could only just see how calculative he was in hindsight after the fact. The man was a straight menace to society.
I don't know, the old one feels so much more calculated, like that's what made him so scary everything was overplanned to perfection, in this one you have stupid plans like speeding in an ambulance instead of calming leaving or helping, leaving him to get caught.
the new one was stupid his plans were all just based on luck and plot armour old makarov was scary because he always was one step ahead and whenever he was on screen you knew shit was about to hit the fan
2011 Makarov: Scary villain
2023 Makarov: Goofy ahh friend
OG Makarov always seemed one step ahead. New Makarov is far more reactionary.
Objectively, new Makarov is more realistic. But old Makarov was far cooler and easier to hate - whilst simultaneously respecting his intelligence.
Also, Soaps death is just shit. You're never going to be able to beat the impact of watching Price break down.
@ptra4realistic not in character but in his motivations, his reactions to the world and how the world reacts to him. 2011 makarov had a genuinely disturbing presence around him, like you wish that character got explored more with that exact same vibe.
Soap death in new cod just cringe moment that tries to be dramatic
Reactionary? how? he plans on killing 141, he has his own grudge with Soap (why the hell he would do a two man bomb, is to split 141 and get Price). Oh he is coming for 141, unlike your OG because he feels like killing the characters.
@@shiberu_7s In OG MWII and MWIII he was always one step ahead of everyone. He was legit terrorist in every sense of the word. All to take over Russia and later Europe and bring America to Heel. New Makarov has no teeth. He barks a lot but has the plot cover his sorry ass 90% of the time. Like come on, how did Gaz and Ghost let him and his goons slip on by and kill Soap?
"realism" shouldnt be in cod. the new cods try so hard to be realistic but fail and seem even more cartoonish lol
Old Makarov was way better
The old Makarov was such a cold, calculating prescence that gave you chills everytime he showed up. He always was on top of the heroes and constantly planning ahead of the game, showing his extreme millitary prowess and why he's villain worth taking down. New Makarov does put on the best performance he can give, but the writing and overall direction of his direction feels more over the top and cartoonish in comparison, which really makes him more underwhelming than an actual threat
4:40 Playing this as a kid, I was like, "Dang. I guess we weren't meant to live at all."
OG Makarov was a threat everytime he was around. He was always one step ahead and like a tall menacing figure. Rasputin was right when he said "The Devil will make his home in Russia." Because the Devil was named Vladimir Makarov.
Old Mak: evil villain
New mak: janitor/bus driver
OG makarov looks like a middle aged war veteran
that's how it should be, new makarov looks like a 20 year old flexing on social media for his daddy's riches while sitting on a lamborghini and letting the maids all do his work for him.
Because iirc, he was one.
The old voice had a chilling presence about it that the new one doesn’t have.
IIRC OG Makarov was also a Chechen War vet, who've seen what happened to Russia post soviet collapse. What happened to its military, how selfish the officers got, selling their men to the enemy. So on and so forth. Pushing him in to the folds of Zakhaev and the rest is history. Old Makarov was pretty based in his own way. "Money can buy many things. Even Power.". One of the most important quotes to ever exist. OG Makarov was a menace. Independent, cold and needed no screen time, because everything that was happening on screen - WW3 most importantly was his doing. New Makarov? He is honestly a filler. A movie villain. He lacks character, he's more a teenager that watched too many movies and asked the girl that fell in love with him to sponsor his crazy ideas. And he requires screen time to try and "attach" us to him. But I felt cringe. Especially since I know Russian pretty well. More cringe was felt when everyone in "Prisoner 627" were speaking fluent English. Don't get me wrong, but even if they practiced English well, they'd still have apparent accent. It feels like that mission was meant to be played as BLUFOR but at the very last moment they changed their mind. Konni even have western equipment en masse, which makes no sense whatsoever. A mix of west and east equipment, while leaning towards the east would be more appropriate. Oh well, what's done is done. I'm glad they don't allow older W10 OS to actually even launch the game. Saved myself another hundred bucks. MW2019 forever in my heart tho.
Even modern mw2 was exceptionally better than this one, it simply had MORE to it. This just does things to get it out the way essentially.
New Makarov : destroying a plane carrying russian passengers sends a message
Old Makarov : thats no message
*Massacres civillians in Zakhaev International Airport*
Old Makarov : this is a message
The voice of the OG Makarov it is soo amazing natural, the voice of the new kid.. you can hear every part of the acting
Old Makarov had the energy of the Heath Ledger joker or something.
The new Makarov feels like just some cult leader. Somewhat of a god to his people, but for no apparent reason.
Old Makarov was legitimately scary. The new one feels and looks like a footballer with a gun; not even close to being a rememberable villain.
Original Makarov was another level. Just look at the difference in goals!
Original: Conquer Europe
Reboot: Invade Urzikstan
OG Makrov managed to create chaos throughout Europe
New Makarov is just like Russia right now in Ukraine
OG: ... and attempted to invade US
@@b.b.wijaya2521the fact that russian army even landed on american soil was next level, let alone besieging its capital. Reboots look like child games.
I miss truly evil Makarov. This budget Prigozhin and budget Wagner group felt uninspired. He came in strong with mission 1 then his lackies did the rest. OG Mw3 Makarov came in murking mfs just to open scenes. And actually followed rule #2 (Double tap).
Graves felt more like a capable villain than new Makarov ever did...
As decent as the new Makarov is, old Makarov genuinely feels insane and cunning at the same time, making him a genuinely scary individual that'll make your skin crawl from his voice and mannerisms alone.
I was surprised they didn't went with the OG VA. The new VA is alright. But you just don't feel that calm, cold and violent aura from the OG.
Cause there is no face model for him only this new one
That's also literally the writing of the game. OG MW 2 and 3 were straight to the point and didn't try to make the story feel like a tv show episode or a B Movie. Thats the bad thing about games now, they want so hard to be seen as movies and not only that, they also don't want to offend anybody so they lack proper artistic expression.
They completely made Soap go out like a bitch in the new game, as if Makarov was on a level so much higher than him, when in fact in the OG series, both Price and Soap could kill Makarov in one on one combat. It was Makarov's sheer attention to detail, genius strategist, extensive underworld/corrupt military connections, his pure ruthlessness and his constant mind games that kept him alive and threw off Price and Soap.
Soap was mortally wounded in the OGMW3 due to Makarov's planning, misdirection and deception forcing Soap to protect Yuri from death. He didn't straight get outclassed and reduced to a kid holding a gun as soon as Makarov got the drop on him like they did in the reboot. It was at that point that I dont consider reboot Soap to be the actual Graham MacTavish cause that simply isn't the same man who could pull a knife out of his chest and kill Sheppard with an elite knife throw facing death himself.
Funny how they never allowed Soap to even have any moments like that in MW2 or 3. He never killed anyone pivotal to the plot aka the Big Bad like he did in the OG MW 1 &2, he ended up looking like a fool in both games due to getting faked out not actually killing Greaves like he thought he did, by being at the main villains mercy at the end of MW2, nearly dieing by being dragged around like a ragdoll and thrown out of the window if not for Ghost saving him and finally, completely getting outclassed and treated like a bitch by Makarov in MW3 to the point Makarov kills him with one hand while shit talking Price.
The reboot writers must really hate Soap as a character to be honest when you really look at it.
@@2Good2BeTrue45so real
@@2Good2BeTrue45its funny you say that with the games being movies standpoint because games always WANTED to be on a level in competition with movies, the best cinematic games never tried to be a generic cinematic, they capitalized off of a certain media and video game-ified as opposed to now where they just movie-fy video games. It gets to the point where it just loses life a bit
@@clawzx1195”always” cap. Onky bad studios does. Game is its own medium, look at nier automata.
Old Makarov was a nemesis to Price like Moriarty was to sherlock. The new one feels like a caricature of the original.
Julian played the character of Makarov well, but the story of the play was a disgrace.
I don’t blame the actor he played his role incredibly I just blame activision for making the plot go to shit and having him more of a bitch boy with daddy issues
OG Makarov face are more "villain"
OG Makarov had a personality colder than the Great Plains of Siberia.
New Makarov is just a lukewarm bucket of water.
I notice OG Makarov’s hair is messy while Reboot Makarov’s hair looks clean.
Tbh, OG Makarov would make sense since he’s the one plotting alot of things and made sure theres some backup plan. Dude even kidnapped the Russian President and tried to get him to give the launch codes. Everything was done by him to plan things, and it must be stressful since the death of Zakhaev.
Even in the flashback in MW3 during MW1 you get to see him looking fine, then starting MW2, he became what he is after Zakhaev’s death.
He looks so cute on the new MW...
the other one was more cruel and intimidating, and also hot too...
I love how the OG Makarov his voice, his mystery, and his manacing look make a perfect combination of a good villain
Activision could've gone for remastering COD MW3 but they keep disappointing us with remake one
OG Makarov is just way more evil, 2023 killing one of his men seemed less insane because, OG Makarov was expecting Yuri to die, and just let him slowly bleed out rather than killing him upfront, not to mention the guy he kills didn't seem to be as personal as Yuri, since Yuri was the character you've played as through the entire game plus during his flashback scene you see that he really did seem close to Makarov, so to Makarov to turn on him so quickly and attempt to kill him so brutally is absolutely monstrous compared to new makarov.
Indeed, Yuri was Makarov's best and closest friend, so it hurt him more than he hurt Yuri
The new Makarov killed Ivan all because he wanted to delay the extraction after hearing the other Konni team dealing with more Kastovian guards
He then kills him because he doesn't want seconds to wait and just calls him a traitor because of it, which makes him look like a spoiled child
@@OperatorMax1993
Something about original Makarov is that he was impossible to find, no matter how much intel or leads Task Force 141 had. He's pulling the strings in the background while everything is going nuts; Paris gas attacks, WW3, the siege of Washington DC, etc
New Makarov was located and seen so damn much despite being the guy who "isn't new" (according to the epilogue of MW2019), he basically had a breadcrumb trail everywhere he went. Like dude is an international terrorist and could just walk into an airport without anybody noticing. Like was it really necessary for Makarov be on the plane to be the one who straps the vest to Samara when his henchmen could have done it?
While he didn't necessarily need to be at the airport in MW2, it still makes sense since he knew Allen was a spy and wanted to make sure his fake American attack would be believable by fully baiting Allen into it so he could leave an American body to be found by the Russian CTU
Yeah Makarov 2011 was hard to find only because of the Chaos going around. Task Force 141 couldn't be at 2 places. But eventually they did after years... They did find leads and eventually caught up a bit with him ending up disappearing.
Makarov 2023 however wanted them to be found so he can Either delay them or try and stall them long enough to plan ahead more.
The Missions Highrise, Tundra, Payload, Gora dam, The attack on his base from TF141 And shadow and ulf and the Trojan Horse level were all distractions and basically ways to keep them distracted.
I think what made the older MW much better at showing the sh1t that Makarov has done was making us play as Normal "Side Character" soldier's POV. Recently, we've been playing as a "Main Character" all the time, which severely limits all POVs we can seen.
In the older games, you basically fight World War 3, you get nuked, shot by Makarov (Three Times), Defend Burger Town, Save Washington DC from being Striked by your own, See raining Helicopters from the sky, etc. You build a connection with your character along with the "main characters" that Makarov's death in the end was satisfying.
The new games... You what... oh, mostly only small conflicts... And when there is a plot point that can sure start a big conflict... like I don't know... THE BOMB IN THE LAST MISSION OF MWIII! Defused...
Old Makarov's plans worked, resulting in the various POVs we get to see. New Makarov's plans either fail miserably or are completely ignored by the in game world, which makes the games feel more like one of those "The Rock" or "James Bond saves the day" kind of movies.
OG Makarov is a huge threat, New Makarov seems like a normal NPC enemy
Old makarov is always chill and he doesn't care about getting angry, he just controls it
4:39 top 5 scariest jumpscare in history
Reboot Makarov:Timing is everything
meanwhile 4 failed launch attacks
OG Makarov had a better actor, better story, and a better rivalry with Price (Pripyat Sniper Mission). This new guy is just some hollow movie villain from an AI script.
If they would have brought the OG over that would have been amazing. The remake Mak is too adorable and he touches people so softly. OG didn't want to even come near anyone and everything about him was menacing. He didn't even look at his victims anymore because he was so jaded and evil.
I can't remove the og voice of Makarov from my head, it was sooooo deep
Game: *Exist*
Gamer:
I have no issue or complaint with the new makarov. My only complaint is where is the large scale warfare that was supposed to be there in this game?? In 2011 mw the players got to fight against Russian army and terrorists as part of a army in a full scale war across Europe but in 2023 there is only solo missions
For the type of game the original MW3 was Makarov felt like a mustache twirling villain and it worked. This one isn’t in any way intimidating, memorable, sophisticated, etc…
Imo og Makarov is better than the reboot, the fact that he is more threatening than the reboot and literally started world war between countries, unless the reboot who got his arse pinned then failed, one thing I hate though is both of them killed our fav character Soap :(
Old Makarov killed way more people than the new one.
But I have to agree that the new Makarov feels more grounded, acting like an ordinary villain. But he doesn't piss me or make me angry at all. More like, confusing maybe. Yet his actions feel less impactful, may I say.
While the old Makarov had actions of a certified politician with his own ambitions. You were sure that his move was without any backsteps.
Also... No Russian mission in MW2023 doesn't make any sense, since Samara's evidences were deleted...
No russian in MW2 had an impact - Russia has declared war to USA.
But nevertheless - the new Makarov feels more lively, maybe. I'm not sure, but have a sense of something like this.
It's a video game who cares about feeling grounded
funny thing is, i felt MWIII No Russian is more like the Verdansk Stadium attack, not the Russian plane.
@@amapnamedpamexcept the modern warfare reboots advertised itself to be grounded, gritty, and dark? I know one of the biggest marketing to it was that it was apparently supposed to show the “morally grey” area of war, which it seems to have failed in subsequent entries
You also forget that there is an entire genre of military shooters at the exact opposite of the arcade spectrum - milsims, which try to be really grounded and quite authentic, and there’s a reason why such genre thrives, because players care about the game being grounded
I wish they had let the new Makarov be built up a little better.
They should have just left these characters as they were. The old Makarov was the goat of villains and old price was the goat of revenge I loved their game of cat and mouse and how awesome and dark they went to defeat each other
I get the idea that old Makarov would not shoot an underling for his lack of faith. He is not above of making missions that would guarantee death to his men but only if it meant he would get something greater out of this. In the three games the only tomes we see him willingly kill his men are when he runs one over to save Zakhaev and when he shoots Yuri. (and even then you get the idea he is more hurt that it was Yuri who did it because it was his BFF and one could argue that he left him alive to witness no Russian). Makarov was evil, but not wasteful. New dude is just the Russian joker.
Old Makarov will always be the greatest villain ever.
The new makarovs is way too clean and well groomed. The old one is better because you can see the crazy in him
I give it to the new guy for sounding more Russian but old one was just something else that the new one isn’t
Russian on Twitch reacted to him and they find him funny with bad pronounciation & accent
@@rpmusic6402 Oh. That’s understandable because they are true Russian while I’m an Mexican American. They know how it should go. From my pov and comparing it with old Makarov, the new guy sounds a bit more Russian compared to older Makarov
@@rpmusic6402yeah his accent is pretty bad. As a native Russian speaker, I honestly think that the OG Makarov sounded better even when speaking Russian. But nevertheless, I don’t understand why developers just won’t hire any Russian speaking actors for such roles, especially when they have to speak Russian in the script
@@Messier_-82 yeah pretty sure og makarov was actually born in russia while the new one is bulgarian and picked up russian later
I like old Makarov better, the design and voice really fit
if it wasn't for the fact they're meant to be the same person, you could easily fool anyone into thinking they're two completely different characters, its basically all it is, two completely different guys with the same name
that first scene always gives me chills
New Makarov is like a Goofy Ahh Disney Villain
Old Makarov is like a literal Monster
Old Makarov is literally the incarnation of war and chaos. His voice is either emotionless or demanding. He only cares about himself and his goals. New Makarov is like a charismatic boy scout leader.
I miss when modern warfare had us play as expendable soldiers. It's a lot more impactful seeing the person you were playing as die. We're so used to dying and respawning but then we just die and we're left with "oh shit"
Now we have this new makarov, i think i wanted the OG MW3 remaster even more now.
Coughing baby vs Thermonuclear bomb
He looks like an absolute doughnut in the new mw
Let's go Juliannn! 🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬
I think they’re building him up like I feel in the next game he will be pretty fucking ruthless hopefully they’ll learn
New Makarov is like a memberberries branch, like "OH YEAH 'MEMBER MAKAROV?"
I feel that old Makarov was a much bigger threat to us and we see him committing atrocities himself and new Makarov kind of just tells his goons to do bad stuff while he just sits around playing flash games on his computer
For me I prefer the og mw3 legends never die

MW3 ended up being the biggest disappointment.
Shepherd was a blabbering fool with no fucking point in the story.
Makarov ended up being a comic book villain.
And Soap was killed off in the most stupid way possible.
I love both of them
You vs the guy she tell you not to worry about
After watching all the videos. I am forced to admit Original Makarov is better.
Makarov is someone I would follow through thick and thin. Long Live Vladimir Makarov!!
old makarov: I successfully famed US for my terrorist attack, I hijacked the russian president plane and kidnapped the president. I detonated a nuke and killed 30k marines and made shepherd kill Roach and Ghost.
new makarov: timing is everything. *fails most of the time*
He also seized power in Russia for a short period of time, and commensed the largest terrorist attack in all of Europe, followed by a literal invasion.
Every single thing that new Makarov did literally lead to nothing. He couldn't even do "No Russian" right.

OG No Russian: Makarov participates to the end and completes the match with his allies (and takes down the imposter).
Reboot "No Russian": Makarov opts out midgame and left the match, abandoning most of his allies to go dead.
-I hope you get what I mean, unless you need more details.-
I like the old voice a whole lot better. More iconic.
we need old makarov voice actor back
The OG will always be goated
I agree with everyone else here that old Makarov was the best and let's just look at the facts here new Makarov failed to take back urzikstan (god only knows why everyone wants this one country for some reason in this new series) but og Makarov set the entire world on fire in war and as the original saying or at least the end of the speech said "all it takes is the will of a single nan"
with all due respect to the new face of makarov, the og makarov is LITERALLY a 100% villain. No need explanation, play mw2 and 3 and youll see why. New makarov looks like the best looking guy in the world, which is not bad, if it weren't for the fact that he is the all-powerful villain of Call of Duty modern warface series
the old Makarov is more of a Psychopath whereas the new one is more of a Sociopath
Both played a real menacing makarov but I believe also everyone loves the originals
Please interview Julian Kostov, plz Dan
As someone who grew up with the original MW2 and 3... the new MW3 is just so disappointing. The new Makarov doesn't have anywhere near as intimidating a presence as he does in this game. Like you'd feel uncomfortable just being near him while playing through the original No Russian. He actually feels like a madman. I always think back to that moment in the original MW3 when he kidnaps the Russian president, you open the door to the helicopter and he just walks out in slow motion with the "objective failed" text typing out before shooting you. (EDIT: turns out this was already in the video! Like I said, it's iconic. 4:39 ) His presence was SO intimidating and that was fantastic.
New Makarov has like, nothing going for him. The No Russian equivalent has no teeth, he doesn't do anything beyond putting a bomb on someone and then just fucking leaving. He talks like a generic militaryhead and looks like a vaguely older Ben Shapiro.
Hell, he doesn't even shoot that Ivan guy himself. It feels like he lets everyone else do everything for him... Except for killing Soap I guess. And even then that felt like a very "aw shit, Soap died in the original MW3 uhhhh ok just have Makarov show up here".
The missed potential for this reboot hurts so badly.
Both are neat
when games didnt worry about money to make a great story
Love the new Makarov just a true showing of the character. Old makarov is iconic but doesnt do a good job of showing the meaning of the character.
Nice
The old Makarov face is more evil than the new one
Both are fine, also he speaks more russian in MWIII
New one also has that same feel and behaviour as barkov
bro old makarov seems insanely intelligent when it comes to the battlefield aswell as having the perfect bad guy aura and the new one just seems like a salty teenager who sits online all day and thinks hes smart cause he can say some shit that sounds wise lmao
Да новая версия даже выглядит как мультик в то время как в оригинале он выглядит как страшный человек,что сделать не сложно,но даже с этой задачей они успешно справились
Andrej Nolan looks like Matt Demon and Ivan like Liam Neeson
The legendary dialogue "Remember. No Russian."
I like old Makarov. He looks like Infinty maniac😂
New makarov = Harry Maguirre
Honestly I like new makarov. Maybe he isn't the same caliber villain as the last ones but still very cold and calculating.
The slight raspiness in old makarov was scary to me...
