Thinking of picking up cameras for travel and have no idea what accessories you use for cameras, this video helped so much!
You’ll probably figure out you need lots of extras, lots of people give the impression to go for one camera …… you need lots of different cameras and extras obviously depending on how much filming and content a person is wanting to create.
An iPhone can do a lot, but you’ll find you run into issues.
I really like that replacement door, that eliminated the need for the plastic cage for vertical shooting. Great accessory list, and thanks for sharing.
It’s such a thoughtful accessory. Really surprised DJI didn’t incorporate that into the camera.
The Ulanzi OA-16 magnetic battery door cover did NOT work on my Action 4.

@@Gemini_Connectit is a great accessory with a couple downfalls. #1: it doesn’t appear to work with the action 4. #2: it does not have a waterproof seal.. at least that’s what I’m reading. Probably should make note of that in your video. Great content otherwise!

Some info on this would be appreciated. I use a external power bank with a Osmo 3 with a external mic adapter that has a usb C charge port. Thanks again for the great info
I bought the OA-16 battery cover after watching this video, only to find out it only work with the Action 3, unless you modify it. It looks like it was a perfect fit from this video.
Have you tried to modify it in anyway?

Question - I ordered (received) the metal battery replacement door (Item OA -16) for the Action 4. I found that it would NOT connect at the bottom latch - the hinge end would fit in but the other attachment point would not latch (the clip at end appears to long to fit into Action 4 groove. Am I missing something? Thank you

The Cold shoe accessory, that mounts on the battery door? So, if I have a mic attached, I cant shoot vertically, can I? Unless I remove the mic

Question - Does the OA-16 magnetic door work with the Action 4? You say it does, but other reviewers are highlighting it doesn't - i've emailed Ulanzi but you might want to amend the video if not?
Ulanzi have confirmed that the OA-16 door in ONLY for the Action 3 and NOT 4 - They have now amended the website
Good suggesting with ONE exception; The Ulanzi replace door, Ulanzi OA-16, does NOT fit on the Osmo Action 4. I know, because I have both Osmos #3 and #4. The door only fits the #3 because the inset on the 3 & 4 are different. I don't know how you're making that door fit on the Osmo Action 4 - please elaborate. Thank you!
There is another video a guy made on this how hers in the video is different than the one he received. He grabbed a screen shot and compared. The screws are different and the latches are different. I wonder if she was sent that product directly

Does the battery door replacement actually fit the model 4? The main listing from Ulanzi seems to imply it only is compatible with the 3, and the Amazon reviews confirm this. Thanks for the great content!
The battery door fits my Action 4 - see the included b-roll in the video. One thing to note though is that the camera loses waterproofing when it’s attached.

I picked up the door accessory but unfortunately it won't latch on my OA4. The top "lip" indent on the camera doesn't go full width, but the door accessory assumes it does. So it won't latch at the top. I may try modifying the door by making the latch lip smaller to fit in the camera body groove. 😢
do you know if there's any rods that have a shutter button for picture???
I wish the USB door would be easier to work with when attaching the DJI Mic receiver. I've already lost the door once, it's so small.
Hey would you know i there's any form of cages that fits around a gopro7 but uses the map/clip mounts, i just upgraded from a 7 to a dji4 and loving it but i was thinking of a way i can use my old 7 with the new clip mounts

These are all official DJI accessories for now because I don’t see many third party accessories out for the Pocket 3 yet.

Why did they provide the plastic frame for the camera? it is useless it have no mount for wireless microphone so i wondering why they have not that do you have any idea?

What can you do with the gps information?
Add stats overlays (ie speed, distance). It’s most commonly used for action

Why would someone not want the protective plastic case? I am sure 1% of people would however claiming the best $20 you would spend on that action camera to everyone watching the video sounds dumbfounded.
