Im an electrician and i take pretty good pride in having nice cables above the ceiling tiles (and below). The trick is to plan out your run before you start pulling. Such as in my attic, i put some hangers up the entire way between my two main points. Do that before ever running the first cable.
From what i could see in your office, you didnt have a ton of options due to that mono-coated steel I-beam. In that case, id get a plastic coated steal cable and attatch that in several points. Then you could attach everything to that steal cable and everything could be together in one big trunk and look really clean
He has by far the best shirts on CZcams.

Are you a dad? You have a lot of dad energy, or very loving older brother. Great stuff. Do you do consulting over the internet?

Say it with me now 😂❤
This is slightly off topic but I've been told to never shut down my Nas as spinning up the drives from a standstill puts wear on them, however I've noticed when I haven't used my Nas in a while and go to access a file on it, the drives start to spin up as if they were idle. I haven't changed any drive settings so is that the default synology behavior? Would be great if I could shut it down at night since the sound annoys me when I'm trying to sleep.
I'm curious what type of hardware your leveraging to get any thing close to the top end of 100gbe? That synology not going to be able to do 25gbe right? Your servers? What type of disks etc are going to be able to keep up with 100gbe? I'm loving 10gbe file copies on my network but cannot for the life of me phantom what server / nas hardware I would need to get 100gbe.
haha need is always a stretch.
More of anything its testing out these workflow and getting them optimized for my clients who actually need them.
But for people with 10+ SSDs in a RAID and multiple video editors you can pretty quickly saturate 10GbE speeds. 25GbE is a good sweetspot, but there still are some that need more
Can you say "Alright how's it doing ya'll" even faster please?
I thought I heard "going" not "doing" 😂 I am kidding, I had this exact thought when I opened the video.
Haha it is “going yall”
But it’s hard to get it any faster!
@@SpaceRexWill 🤣🤣🤣🤣
