I feel bad for Vegard; it isn't nice to have to come clean on television about anything, even if he was just a kid when it all happened. And he hadn't admitted it to his mom all that time, so he was obviously still upset about it. Poor guy, Bård made him cry.
I don't think Vegard was lying about himself at all to that lady on the internet. He is very logical as shown by his lying episode as a child. Vegard is classic asperger, which is not an insult to him at all. Pure logical mind, honest to a fault at times, difficulty understanding his emotions, tactile seeking, pain avoiding, fact loving, hard worker, insanely smart, socially a little awkward, amazing sense of humor, easily agitated, detail obsessed (damn fly!), is very sweet, has deep feelings for others, young looking and very young at heart. So much to love!
My boyfriend is Aspie, and I think that's why I'm a fan of Veg. I dunno if Vegard is an Aspie or not, but he does have traits, and a lot of his mannerisms and quirks remind me of my boyfriend. There really is a certain sweetness about a lot of people with Aspergers -- they're just completely guileless because they're honest to a fault and don't hold back, but typically no ill-will is meant. They can also be child-like in their enthusiasm for things most other people aren't interested in. As I said, dunno if Veg is Aspie, but I think he and my boyfriend would get along well, though if they had a conversation I don't think either would hear the other -- they'd probably keep rambling off facts to each other for hours. =)

I think he's just a shy geek (less extravert than his brother). But I can't say for sure because I'VE NEVER MET HIM.

I can't believe the hairy back part, sorry, with such a hairless calf/lower leg? No way...... I don't think he did a good job on putting off the poor woman with a crush...He even showed off his muscular legs (thighs and bottom, too). I love airports, flying and many-sided, witty men, +have eczema every now and again too.)
Isn't Vegard married? I think the biggest put off is if he says" I am married and I love my wife, kids and would never even consider looking at another woman". But why should a married woman with a baby dream about another man? That woman should sort out her marriage first and then the Vegard crush.

First, this was sort of in a joking way " make him look like an asshole so she looks elsewhere" and not really being serious about it. The second reason is that Vegard seems to be a very private person. He will talk openly about himself, his brother or his career, but he rarely mentions his wife or children. I think he just prefers to keep that part of his life private. I don't know for sure, this just my opinion.
