When I watch the Jason Bourne movies I'm always waiting for the end to hear this song. Great Moby!

I thought I was the only one. I found my peeps yay
Me too !!!
“Get some rest Pam, you look tired.”
- Jason Bourne

Jason Bourne one of the best movie series of all time.
yes
Yup
they fucked it up. why? because they killed nikki.
Mhat Damon .good
The original book was duller than dirt. So boring.
This song has to be one of the most EPIC songs of all time and also for Jason Bourne. It just fits perfectly. 2022 and still EPIC.
Indeed my friend!
For sure. 2023 and STILL mega epic. As a 70 yr old woman who has lived through heaven & hell, fire & ice, and endured, you can believe I agree 💯% with you.
Bitch be game of thrones
Totally agree. He is so talented overall!
@@adeladavila-estelritz7315pp
I'm still enjoying this song in 2024
me too, and waiting for Bourne 6 :)
SAME.
Who could ever dislike such an incredible tune?
Stupid people.
the Abbott guy from identity and supremacy who killed himself probably disliked it...
Moby has compromised himself indefinitely by pushing forward his false political believes. He playing on the side of human murderers now.
james bond
Bárbara Vieyra yeah when he falls from the roof into the river then he surfaces cue this song
IT WAS A VIOLIN!!! Oh my God I love this! No electronic effects just a violin, made of wood! What incredible these instruments are!
It was highly an effects-processed sound, but yeah it was great.
Well...I strongly believe that the on stage violin player was present to "better represent" the playback of the original synthesizer patch that Moby recorded himself for the first "IDENTITY" film & was subsequently used again for the many updated versions he was asked to record & freshen-up for each following films. Each recording was slightly different, but that original synth (violin) patch track, he moved over to each new version. Here we see as "part of the visual production" a sole violinist "sync" to the recorded track on stage, at this concert. If his violin was, or was not, directly interfaced or microphoned up to the mixing console and amplified throughout the concert hall, we do not know. But by listening to the violin track intently here, one can make the overwhelmingly obvious distinction that the original pre-recorded violin (synth) cue, is what we are hearing in this "live" mix. Believe me, ONE SOLE VIOLIN could not possibly sound EXACTLY like that classic, iconic synth "violin" patch Moby used for all his "BOURNE" main title contributions. Indeed, it "looked good" to have the string player on the stage replicating that part, but his contribution was that of "stage presence", and not much else.
Remember, in "The Wizard Of Oz" there was a certain reason Mr. Wizard had his curtain closed to his production booth & his voice vastly altered.
I.E., things aren't always what they seem to be, BUT, I gotta admit, having the violin player on stage, recorded to camera & cut into the video post-production, was a SUPER KEEN IDEA, on Moby's part; "The Wizard".

In the studio version it's a sample actually, this is for Live purposes only.
@@Shimauta6669 Indeed, if I read & understand you correctly, we collaborate our findings; on the studio recordings of the "Extreme..." piece, it was Moby's "Extremely" talented work as a very well seasoned & experienced musician/arranger to write and lay down that iconic "violin" intro in his personal recording suites, using his myriad of keyboard software patches...but DANG...it sure LOOKED GREAT...to have that violin player on that stage "synching" to that previously pre-recorded sampled keyboard patch.

the violin is mic'd and sounds for a while in 2:31
The Bourne franchise would not be the same without this theme attached.
I'm 66 going on 67 and cannot stop listening to it and cannot sit still or stand still while I'm listening to it
With you babe.. happy lockdown to ya.. take care x
58 here. Love Moby.
And you shouldn't! You're still very young! Many years of being moved by music, and moving to music still left in ya! 😊
It’s all good, another boomer. Love his work.
57 here....and still luvin it
Could possibly be the best theme song of any spy movie...maybe better than some of the early Bond theme songs.
+John Fuentes +++
No doubt. Amazing song.
+John Fuentes The Bourne??
"You Know My Name" should also be in that conversation. Both awesome songs.
Yeah I have to agree with you on 'You know my name"
There is not enough volume to listen this masterpiece....
Moby is a legend!
Fine! I go and watch "Jason Bourne" right now.
When I first heard this song at the end of the first Borne movie I instantly fell in love with it. It has been one of my top 5 songs ever since, still good today as when I first heard it 😍
Story of every single person who has seen trilogy
Me too, had to find it and listen to i over and over.
Yes the song still sounds like it could have been released yesterday.
Can u tell me the another 4 pls
one of the best songs ever made....
Thomas Hansen TOTAL!!!
Totally agree.
Best song ever all time 💪💪💪
Saw Moby 5 years ago in Athens. Totally blew me away! I was not even a big fan but his energy and passion on stage just drag everyone with him!
Δυστυχώς μένω Θεσσαλονίκη και δεν έρχεται εδώ πέρα,Αθήνα υπάρχει περίπτωση να ξανάρθει?
Έλα πατριδαααα !! Τρομερός καλλιτέχνης !
Respect this legend. This song is booster dose better than any medicine.

Best song ever, can't get enough, love it.........
Extreme ways are back again
Extreme places I didn't know
I broke everything new again
Everything that I'd owned
I threw it out the windows, came along
Extreme ways I know move apart The colors of my sea
Perfect color me
Extreme ways that help me
That help me out late at night
Extreme places I had gone
But never seen any light
Dirty basements, dirty noise
Dirty places coming through
Extreme worlds alone
Did you ever like it then
I would stand in line for this
There's always room in life for this
Oh baby, oh baby
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Oh baby, oh baby
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
Extreme songs that told me
They helped me down every night
I didn't have much to say
I didn't get above the light
I closed my eyes and closed myself
And closed my world and never opened
Up to anything
That could get me along
I had to close down everything
I had to close down my mind
Too many things to cover me
Too much can make me blind
I've seen so much in so many places
So many heartaches, so many faces
So many dirty things
You couldn't even believe
I would stand in line for this
It's always good in life for this
Oh baby, oh baby
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
All day, all day
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
(Falling apart)
It's a Monday morning, it's everywhere
Oh no I can't
All day, all day
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
All day, all day
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
All day, all day
Then it fell apart, it fell apart
All day, all day
Like it always does, always does
This world needs More Moby
He deserve much more respect .If u love music , any kind , at least , respect him .
true
I just watched the Bourne Ultimatum last night for probably the 3rd time. I don't know how I missed this song at the end! I ended up watching all the credits to see who the musician was and the name of the song! Love it! Better late than never! I'm 59 and also happy to find music I like in this day and age of so much pop instead of rock! Thanks Moby! Awesome tune! ❤️
Have been obsessed with this since the first movie.
When this song came out on the PLAY album back in '99, I had never heard anything quite like it. Loved it, and still do, it's brilliant and it rocks! Back when artists wrote their own lyrics and composed their own music. Moby always write great lyrics, a lot of his other songs are very poetic. No garbage here, he's a real talent.
I watched so many times i lost count
2020 and I’m nearing my 66th birthday. I’m still watching and listening to Moby. Respect.
My birthday today and I’m listening 😆
Moby is amazing. You being 17 years older than me is hardly relevant. I allow myself to listen to The Beatles although i wasnt born when they played
I like Moby and I listen to this song and I know that it sounded familiar but I couldn't put it together and I'm so glad someone said something about The Bourne ultimatum and then I like it even more
Brilliant composition . Perfect song for the perfect movie
When you Crack a job interview successfully and come out of the room. 😏😉😁😂
:)
I would stand in line for this, There's always room in life for this......
Most modern movie theme I've ever heard.
How have I just discovered this live version? Absolutely the best version I've ever heard, so poignant right now ❤
timeless track!
He's brilliant live , it's such a "studio" sound I didn't expect it to be so good-maybe that's an unfair assumption ! ACE !
This song has to be my all time favorite song from a movie soundtrack ever. You can tell the crowd love it.
"U look tired pam .. get some rest" and suddenly this tune comes.. that was the best situation.. aaaahhhh luv thiss..
Perfect song for people who have expierenced certain things that broke them in thousand pieces bit they stand still ✌🏽
Moby can go so deep in music where no one else can
pink floyd does
This live version is on Fire ❤❤❤❤
Something magical about those sixteenth snare fills.
Oh yeah! This live version really rocks! Love it!
What an orgasmic momentum. Quiet crowd proved here that it doesn't necessarily mean to move to be imbued!!!!!!
Эта песня вызывает мурашки по коже, несёт энергетику, она очень подходит к этому фильму про Борна в концовке!!!!
The perfect dramatic end to every Jason Bourne movie which always also ends dramatically but uplifting! :-) I always wait for this to come on before leaving the cinema.
John wick : I need gun
Ethan hunt : I need gadgets
James bond : I need cars & girls
Brian mills : I need strategy
JASON BOURNE : I need nothing
Best comment in the whole internet
A mobile, earphone and some money
except a moped business.
Not true. He needs a pen and this song to be who he is.
Memory
OUTSTANDING....the live version is too gooood!!!
goosebumps every time, incredible
Have to give Moby credit for sounding EXACTLY like his studio tracks...some artists can't back it up
Yes, but I think his live versions have more energy and are actually better than the studio versions. He really is a great live artist and knows how to put together an excellent group of musicians too. Most all of his work is really good stuff, even the more unusual stuff like the live blues he does. The guy is a true artist.
He is like Devin Townsend: better in live shows then in studio.
Moby is Moby!
first time i heard this... i think so...
Moby knows sound like very few other artists do. No exaggeration.
I could listen to this song every day and still love it every day. Moby is the greatest. Such talent and skill.
Moby the Best!!! best regards from Odessa!!! музыка на века
Immortal song
Один из величайших музыкантов современности!
Безусловно
Una de las más grandes canciones de uno de los grandes músicos de este puto mundo. Espero verte algún día en vivo. Saludos desde Colombia,
One of the Greatest artists of our times.
What a voice I couldn't imagine anyone else on Extreme Ways.
Fantastic theme...truthful words....
This guy is outstanding in his genre, much like Mozart was in his era.
Alan Bodell Calm down dude...
Zach Ayotte Err....., OK.
Maybe one of Mozart's good students, old fellow.
He’s extremely original tho.
This song sends me to another dimension that has not been established in this world.....it is smooth powerful and makes your mind feel free...IF THERE WAS A BETTER WORD THEN 'THANK YOU 'I WOULD USE IT.......THERE IS NONE. .."THANK YOU"...
The infectious violin hook.
I'll listen to Moby's music unto the day I pass away. 😎
Fantastic performance just like the movie , it all fits together so perfectly.
one of the greatest action movies ever with an outstanding soundtrack
You my friend, are PURE GENIOUS!!!

I love this song , Absolutely Bourne. Pure energy and action. Brilliant Moby 👏
I finally found who did this great sound track when the credits come up at the end of the Jason Bourne movies, it's fantastic. I would never have picked Moby for this. Awesome.
Oh yeah, Moby is great and this song is awesome, especially this live version, wow!
Paul Vanderputt we did the same thing! Had to find out where it came from.

A masterpiece of poetry & music fused. Timeless, like all great art--there is no "expiration date"....

Moby Rocks
Tema imortal . Fantástico!!
Richard you totally nailed it, respecting the original essence of the song. The violin is amazing gives a heartbeat to the song
Its sad that I got to know the legend Moby only by this song! He is epiccc! The guy hits you hard!
A pesar de tanto tiempo, este tema es uno de mis favoritos y lo mejor de todo es en vivo...
Excelente interpretación....Moby lo hizo de nuevo !
Goosebumps every time!!
Truly gives you goosebumps a melancholic theme of a spies life....
Моби крутой чувак!!! Респект ему!!!
Смотрю и вижу настоящего музыканта и как оказывается очень недурного вокалиста, от студии практически не отличить. Но победили сиськи и эминемы
WHY WOULD YOU REST WHEN YOU CREATE SUCH AWSOME MUSIC?
Adorei! Você é um gênio!❤💕
When this music was written, talent was still needed at that time. Congratulations!
Sencillamente un genio que penetra en nuestros sentimientos mas profundos con su musica !!!
Such a great performance
One of the best songs ever made- genius ❗️
Just completed Bourn-a-thon (all 4 movies one after another) again and now playing Extreme Ways on a loop. #OhBaby x
One of the favorite song of mine
Instant classic. Perfect marriage of movie and music.
Just f'ing great! With recorded music, it's iffy as to if it will also work sung live. This was a tremendous success.
Great rendition of a brilliant piece.✌
