Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan wins US Senate GOP Primary

- BALTIMORE (WBFF) - Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan has won the U.S. Senate Republican primary in Maryland, the Associated Press reports.
Hogan handily defeated his challenger, Robin Ficker. Hogan has 67.9% of the vote with 76% yet to be counted, giving him a wide enough margin to be handed the victory by AP.

I lived in Maryland when he was governor. Hogan was handed a dysfunctional mess and improved it by doing exactly what he said in his speech. He was straight forward and incredibly effective.

I voted for Hogan in the primaries, but I fear to vote for Hogan in the General Elections, MAGA has taken over the GOP, and it’s just a matter of time before Hogan will fall in line with their policies; He will have no choice but to vote in their radical agenda, and we supporting Hogan will be all the worst for putting him in that congressional seat. MAGA is the GOP and in order to defeat MAGA we must take all powerful positions away and bring by them down by making them powerless. Mitt Romney, Liz Chaney, could not defeat MAGA, I have no faith that Larry Hogan can defeat them either. What’s to say he won’t hold the philosophy “ if you can’t beat em join em” Maryland can not afford to take that chance by electing a Republican into this congressional seat that leads the country.
