This guy has such a rare and forgotten talent, deserves to be world famous, to those who mock, poke fun and basically call him shit try looking a little harder, his heart is back in a point in time where some of the most beautiful was wrote and played. Modern day folks are too busy trying to move forward when sometimes you need to look back in time to learn how to move forward.
Very true. Though the young boys had to go through such terrible pain to retain such voices, they were seen as the angels of the church. This is truly rare; I am sure most were surprised to hear someone in our modern times with a soprano voice. Regardless of all the crap going on in the world, I am actually very happy to be alive just to see and hear what the people of the classical period heard in the Catholic church. I can only imagine if a few more soprano singers were to "come out of hiding" and stand in a room with Luc Arbogast and have them sing an old Italian hymn (or anything really); that would just be an experience. I am not religious, but I would definitely sit in a cathedral for days on end, just to listen to voices like his surrounded by the various forms of roman art. Truly amazing, I can not say that enough.

Wow, I've known about this guy for a while and I had no idea he was recently on The Voice. Incredible rendition of Mad World. He's so unique and talented - it's nice to see someone perform music they love rather than what's popular.
It's too bad he didn't move on to the final rounds since his music isn't marketable. At least his popularity has increased thanks to The Voice and CZcams.

I totally agree.
He got cut for the simple fact that he's not marketable. Now a days it's all about making money. Hence everyone in the spot light who don't even write there own music. They look good and can dance, that's all they need.

You seem mermerized because of his singing, he is indeed really good, i really do appreciate his work. But you may find a lot of opera tenors by looking a bit around you... he's NOT a "lost talent", check around you'll find a lot of these, not all at the same level, some better, some worse. It's not because you always hear about macklemore, muse and Lil wayne that they're alone. Classical music is not a "remaining"...

John Doe I think the technical term for Luc's voice is countertenor, but he also sings on the falsetto - but whatever you call it, he is very talented. Check out also a German singer called Andreas Scholl, who also is a countertenor, but draws his material from the opera genre, although he has recorded an album of English folk songs. It's just so refreshing to hear truly talented people who have an individual sound.
I wouldn't consider Luc a lost talent, from what I've heard he is very renown in some circles in France and I have been listening to his music for some time.
Who doesn't appreciate his work, I bet back then in the 1145 to maybe 1850 he would of have more fame and more people who would live his songs to death. Not saying that they don't now who know.
