    • @pewpewcat7679
      @pewpewcat7679 Před 4 lety +15

      Doesn't mean that the one's who have frog butts aren't... for instance, I'm sure mine will probably drop its tail because we live next to an air force base and sometimes they fly low right over our house, sometimes you just can't help it. He even said it that his friends lost tails due to thunderstorms. Yeah they are taking great care of their geckos obviously but it doesn't automatically mean others arent.

      Captive animals, so long as they have the right conditions.. is great for them. They live longer, have little ro no predators. Only issue is is that most of these animals in captivity are not met with what they need. Either space is too small or the food isnt to their standard. These animals can be very happy with being in an enclosure so long as it has everything they need to survive and more.

    Another Crested Gecko clip. Hey, there are Leaf Tailed Geckos in this to. I think I do see some resemblance between the different Gecko species. Except a dozen Different Leaf Tailed Geckos are from Madagascar "Such as what I see on here." Including 2 other species of Leaf Tailed Geckos of Australia. Plus, The Crested Geckos are from New Caledonia. Hmm, I wonder if they're from Australia too? Last time I checked & heard. By the way, your DVD trilogy is tilted "Herpers" you didn't mention that before because the last Crested Gecko Adventure you featured on CZcams showed the DVD trilogy. But I couldn't tell the title. But now, thanks to the Facebook title below, the name of the trilogy is called "Herpers" I'll check to see what sites they're on & I might buy them soon. If there's plenty in stock these days. But another condition. This Herpers trilogy better feature one of my favorite Reptiles. Especially one of the Geckos you featured like The Crested Geckos & Perhaps the Leaf Tailed Geckos. No doubt New Caledonian Giant Geckos, Tokay Geckos & some Day Geckos. After all, those are one of my favorite Geckos. Again, Just checking before I get a chance to buy them soon. Plus, The only DVD I have featuring Crested Geckos it that Wild Kratts DVD Wild Reptiles. It is the 1st DVD featuring those pint sized wall crawling Eyelashed Dragons.

    I may as well get a frog butt because we have airplanes going over our house all the time (next to an air force base 😐) and the housing community somehow feels the need to have the lawn maintenance go through literally every other day (what are you mowing people?! There is nothing left!) and sometimes they just cruise around the house so much and so close it's like they're trying to crawl in through the acs. Good times. I mean the gecko will be up on the first floor but you can definitely still hear it.

    Mammals and birds are born very dependent upon their parents; therefore they are tame at birth, and become wilder as they become more independent. Reptiles have to take care of themselves from the time they hatch; therefore they are "born" wild and skittish. They can become tame as a result of experience.

      Nothing that has citric acid in it. Certain fruits are okay for geckos to eat- figs, papaya, mangos, a tiny bit of banana. But if you feed as a treat, feed sparingly because it's basically like candy for them. Fig is one of the best. Avoid apples, oranges, etc.

    when you where holding one of the crested geckos i noticed you were holding it wrong. try to put on hand few inches away from it so it can jump. And it looked like for a few seconds you were holding on to the tail.

      Lol how much more gently could he have handled it? 🤔 they fire up all the time for many reasons. Often just moving around is enough to fire them up.
