It can't be better if Marc Martel sings live, hiss voice lets my hart crying, because its like Freddy but it sounds better with Marc voice, i am older, and old Freddy fan, and a U2 fan, and love singers how can really sing good live. My hart is crying from this song is so full emotions from back when i whas young and healthy. Thank you Mark Martel for all your good music. I am a big fan off you. You are a perfectionist i hear it. Greetings from Holland.
I come back to this video every few months. His vocal performance on this song is incredible. His “I’m wide awake” notes are incredible, I mean, the best I’ve heard since Bono in 1985. Just an incredible emotional performance, at a small wedding or something.
Nailing on the vocals and on the guitar, best cover of bad I've heared. No only you "revived" Freddy and now doing some classics. My man let me tell you, you are a gift to mankind!
@@jakotaki8219 So I am sorry that you are not a fan however I am glad that you like a few songs of U2. After all you should remember that we are one person according to xmasbunny Scotland.
Not only that - There are a bunch of sustained A4s on this Song, that are extremely difficult (Not to mention the E5 falsettos). Marc nailed it though. I’ll legitimately never understand how Bono hit the notes that he hit from 1982-1989. You can see during this performance-how tough those C#5’s are for Marc - Now, imagine someone doing it with a much deeper voice than Marc, _and_ singing them with Chest Voice-rather than a Mix Voice, _and_ without the kind of technique that Marc has… It literally seems like it should be impossible. But Bono was doing it every night, for a decade. It doesn’t make sense.
@@CipherSerpico - Bono had the best voice in rock in the mid 80s, and that includes Freddie imo. 1986 was probably his vocal peak - there is a version of Bad in Chicago during the Conspiracy of Hope shows that is incredible. It's just a shame that the audio is a crowd recording, I think it's the only show that we don't have soundboard quality audio. Its still a decent recording, well worth checking it out.

Well, he plays both backyard bars _and_ arenas, at least in Europe, he was selling out big concert halls and arenas such as Barclaycard Arena and Lanxess Arena in Germany, just a month before Covid-19 pandemic hit.

This makes me want to watch the rest of the concert!
the BEST cover of Bad ive ever heard
Olá, tudo bem? Já chegou ouvir essa versão? czcams.com/video/_GimJpsDIec/video.html
Great job on this, so hard to sing this one!
Besides his incredible singing..playing this on an acoustic guitar is amazing.
WTF is up with this crowd? Dude is NAILING IT.
It is a wedding reception, not a concert.
Wow, impressive, a hard song to sing!
This is awesome! Sounds like freddie mercury singing a U2 song!
This is what it would sound like if Freddie Mercury covered U2.
Brilliant!!!! Amazing!!! True to the soul of this song!!!!!!! Looking forward to other covers !!!
Good job!
I can see that this is done with great respect for the original. Great job!
Top.....

You're incredible dude, loved it.
I may have just had the biggest eargasm ever!
You too?! The highs 🤯 the lows!! 🔥🔥
What do you think of his official one-take? :)
@@artfulstories I think it's great, but I actually prefer this live version.
Simplemente GRANDIOSO !!!💖💖💖
Sensacional!!!
Not a big U2 fan, but Marc sings this so beautifully, that I had to listen several times. 🥰🥰
Olá, tudo bem? Você já ouviu a versão do U2 no Live Aid, em 1985? É espetacular!!!
👍👍👍👍
Echt super. !
Incroyable Marc! Un des meilleurs covers live de cette chanson😄
Марк красавчик !
I agree! ❤️❤️
Very cool.
U2 NEVER SOUNDED BETTER!
Bono and Edge in one person.
@@ToddandRaquiForrest Not that Marc reeeealy needs to sound like Bono... but it’s still brilliant! ❤️
"Even better than the real thing"?
V v v nice
Increible!!
I like music of U2 more than music of Queen( sorry, Freddie). Mr Martel sang this song beautifully. I am so glad that he did it.
Really? If I had to name a band that I hate the most, it's U2! 😂😂😂
@@Leander_ SAME!!!

Es como escuchar a Freddy Mercury cantando una canción de U2. Y es difícil cantarla y acompañarse con la guitarra a la vez.
Weird to see him in such a small club.
It was a wedding for a friend.
Not so weird when a pandemic shut down other touring options. Musicians want to play!
Anybody know the chords he’s using here?
They are called vocal chords ;)
Why is this dude singing only for backyard bars and CZcams? He should sellout arenas.
Recordings from those shows don't always make it onto CZcams. ;-) czcams.com/video/1ROtJRihMRw/video.html
The backyard and CZcams shows were probably the "safest" venues during COVID. Working on getting back to those arenas. Fingers crossed!

He DOES sell out arenas. This was a friend’s wedding.
