ADS-B in non-radar areas

  • The objective of ADS-B-NRA is to provide surveillance services in non-radar airspace using ADS-B.
    This will significantly increase the controllers awareness of airborne traffic at a certain moment and it will allow to offer a more efficient service.

    Interesting, but a short video, it does not mention the criterions for separation, I doubt they are the same as for PSR/SSR.

      ADS-B is normally equivalent to radar (given suitable comms) and the same separation standards apply as for SSR

    This animation is confusing… It doesn’t show clearly if we are looking straight down at a map, or parallel to a landscape/mountain range… The more the background tilts, the more confusing it gets… I’ve seen a lot of animations… This one is really really confusing
