  • Footage from the final week of a three week trip to Sweden. Sadly, due to a hard drive malfunction, the first two weeks' worth of footage was lost. This included a number of excellent boulder problems.
However, this video still features arguably some of the best climbs in Sweden, including the stunning and truly world-class 'The Hourglass'.
'The Hourglass' was the main objective for Joe on this trip, taking him three sessions, with everything coming together on one of the last days of the trip.
    Climbers and footage from:
    Joe Lawson
    Kay Bain
    Edit:
    Sam Lawson

nice video! A bit overkill with the tickmarks on the Hourglass but a really nice send! makes me psyched to go there

Thanks! The hourglass is the sort of problem where there is no room for error when latching the holds, it looks like a lot of ticks but you need them. It's definitely worth a trip out there

That's a great little film. Proper psyche fodder. The Hourglass send is class, some proper try-hard going down there.

Hi mate, glad you enjoyed it! I flew to Skavsta from Stansted and hired a car. I do plan to drive out there in the van next year though but will be quite an undertaking haha.

    is it in vastervik?
if so, what did you think in general about it?

Most of the problems are in Vastervik. It's really good if you're bouldering 7C and above, not so much to go at in the lower grades.
