My favorite part about mass media CZcams videos is the 5 seconds of “news” that tells no detail followed by 45 seconds of click and subscribe ad read.
That version of the Oceanside pier was completely rebuilt between 1986 and 1987. I was there for the re-opening because my school band played at it. Consequently, that pier is in no way an old “historic” construction. If I’m not mistaken, they only planned on it standing for fifty years, so maybe someone decided to “accelerate” the need to build a new one!
