Of all the false religions out there, Christianity might just have the worst plot and the most inconsistencies.
The reason I’m Muslim is because I researched all the major religions and found Islam to have the most compelling objective concrete evidence such as modern prophecies, scripture preservation, early unlikely Islamic spread against the world empires, lack of incentives from Muhammad, and the Quran itself.
I truly did not find the same magnitude of evidence in any other religion so that’s my 2 cents on it.

For me it was the other way around. I had faith before I researched anything. I grew up a Christian but I questioned it pretty early on and became a staunch atheist. In my mid teens I came across a couple of Surat and I felt like they were directed at me and only God could have come up with such powerful words so I immediately wanted to become Muslim.
I stopped eating pork and I was reading the Qur'an and I thought I was Muslim until I was told to take my shahada and how to pray. I had no idea what I was doing lol but alhamdulillah it's been almost 20 years now and I Never looked back. Some people close to me also became Muslim. A brother, a friend and some random girl who was a bit misguided but curious.

Actually I wanted to share my story too. I'm a revert and I reverted to islam on a special day, which is my birthday not only that. But this birthday only comes once in 7 years cause it's the same day and date as I was born. Alhamdulillah. I was use to be a hater of Islam and one day my heart told me to read Quran. I was surprised and I started to read Quran after period of time. I literally felt Allah swt existence and I wanted to convert to islam. Afterwards i started to have alot doubts and I searched for answers. I literally lost my faith in Allah swt. But everytime I watch an ex-muslim or atheist videos, I felt that there is something is not letting me to leave Islam. After 2 months of search, I felt that Allah swt didn't lead me astray instead he guided me even though I disbelieved in him after I believed. And I'm came back to islam as a strong Muslim. May Allah swt bless my brothers and sisters. Allahu Akbar
I'm a born Muslim turned atheist and again reverted back to Islam after a deep study and research and I had to learn the classical Arabic to understand the Qur'an properly, It was a long journey to find my Imaan but AL HAMDULILLAH I found it. May ALLAH keep us on path of Haqq

Book 008, Number 3424:
' A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Sahla bint Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Messenger of Allah, I see on the face of Abu Hudhaifa (signs of disgust) on entering of Salim (who is an ally) into (our house), whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him. She said: How can I suckle him as he is a grown-up man? Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) smiled and said: I already know that he is a young man. 'Amr has made this addition in his narration that he participated in the Battle of Badr and in the narration of Ibn 'Umar (the words are): Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) laughed.
Book 008, Number 3425:
'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hadhaifa, lived with him and his family in their house. She (i. e. the daughter of Suhail came to Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) and said: Salim has attained (puberty) as men attain, and he understands what they understand, and he enters our house freely, I, however, perceive that something (rankles) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa, whereupon Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) said to her: Suckle him and you would become unlawful for him, and (the rankling) which Abu Hudhaifa feels in his heart will disappear. She returned and said: So I suckled him, and what (was there) in the heart of Abu Hudhaifa disappeared.
Book 008, Number 3427:
Umm Salama said to 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her): A young boy who is at the threshold of puberty comes to you. I, however, do not like that he should come to me, whereupon 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: Don't you see in Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) a model for you? She also said: The wife of Abu Hudhaifa said: Messenger of Allah, Salim comes to me and now he is a (grown-up) person, and there is something that (rankles) in the mind of Abu Hudhaifa about him, whereupon Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: Suckle him (so that he may become your foster-child), and thus he may be able to come to you (freely).
BEATING
Muhammad beat his wives.
... He (Muhammad) struck me (Aisha) on the chest which caused me pain ... (Muslim: bk. 4, no. 2127)
Muhammad's companions also beat his wives and other women.
... (Umar) found the Prophet sitting sad and silent with his wives around him. ... (Umar) decided to say something which would make the Prophet laugh, so he said, "Messenger of God, I wish you had seen the daughter of Kharija when she asked me for extra money and I got up and slapped her on the neck."
CIRCUMCISION
The Qur'an never mentions circumcision. The practice of male or female circumcision comes from the Hadith, Shariah and the consensus of Islamic communities.
The Hadith
Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. (Abu-Dawud: bk. 41, no. 5251, Hasan)
MENTAL CAPACITY
The Qur'an says that the testimony of a woman is not equal to that of a man. It says that the testimony of two women is required to be equal to the testimony of one man.
Call in two male witnesses from among you, but if two men cannot be found, then one man and two women whom you judge fit to act as witnesses. (Qur'an 2:282, Dawood)
Why is it that the testimony of a woman is only worth half that of a man? Muhammad explains in the following hadith.
Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: The Prophet said, "Isn't the witness of a women equal to half that of a man?" The women said "yes". He said "This is because of the deficiency of the women's mind." (Bukhari: vol. 3, bk. 48, no. 826, Khan)
Above all remember reward of 72 juicy virgins only for men, women will have to self pleasure .
Sura 2:228
Women who are divorced shall wait, keeping themselves apart, three (monthly) courses. And it is not lawful for them that they should conceal that which Allah hath created in their wombs if they are believers in Allah and the Last Day. And their husbands would do better to take them back in that case if they desire a reconciliation. And they (women) have rights similar to those (of men) over them in kindness, and men are a degree above them. Allah is Mighty, Wise.

Take it slow and be consistent and apply Islam in everything you do, so your family members could see the changes within you in a positive light. Respect and care for your parents especially your mother, listen to them and follow their commands unless it goes against what Allah has decreed. Make dua to The Merciful One that he softens the hearts of your loved ones before their last breath.

Allow me share my story briefly.
I live in the Netherlands, born in a muslim family. In my teens I felt soo restricted and outcasted that later in my early adulthood I checked out, just to fit it. Booze, girls, "freedom". Only to find emptiness, and no meaning on this side of life.
I got drawn to Christianity, due to the fact seeing my late grandmother being humbled by following the Bible.
I started reading, and exactly a similar feeling you had, when reading that thing. Things don't add up... I lost it when I read somewhere along the lines that "the Son doesn't know The Hour". I instantly connected it to an ayat in Al Maida. And accepted in my heart that the Quran is The Word of God.
That year I already missed like a lot of fasting days in Ramadan, and I hadn't prayed for years... It was that year I stood in Eid prayer, crying my eye balls out. I felt like I came home from a far away trip.
10 years has past from that moment, a proud muslim, Alhamdulillaah.

Indeed! But the human quest for truth that resonates in the intellect, heart, and soul was what u and I always searched for, and found in Islam. So the process of finding Islam was all worth it

I Also was a born Christian who could not accept Christianity for many reasons after coming back home from church one Sunday with an empty heart I ask GOD to lead me in the right direction a couple of minutes later the house phone rang it was my son calling all the way from South Korea asking me why I sound so sad I told him I just came from church and I am feeling empty he asked me if I ever heard of the Muslim religion I asked him what's that he told me to do some research on it and it led me to Islam over 30 years ago that's the best thing ever happened in my life. We as Muslim do not attack no one religious beliefs our Holy Qur'an says to you be your way and to me my way. You are doing the right thing by deleting all negative messages from anyone who's showing negativity towards you because of your faith if they have peace and love in their hearts negativity wouldn't follow them. May Allah strengthen you and your family Ameen.

Around the 30 min mark, I was almost reduced to tears. It reminded me that no matter what your race or ethnic is, it doesn't matter in Islam. Everyone is equal, the only thing that distinguishes us is our deeds. All races coming together to do good and to worship One God. Very, very powerful...nothing tops this.

May God reward you, Brother! I can relate to a lot of what you said. If He wants to guide a person, God puts him in a situation where he is brought face-to-face with Islam in a very personal way. After such an encounter with Truth, you feel compelled to embrace it. This happened to me as a freshman in college back in 1976 and after nine months of slowly discovering Islam, I was ready to accept the Truth and became a Muslim. I felt at the time that I was the only white guy on the planet to do so, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Yeah, many “white” people accepted Islam in Spain during the time of the Caliphate there and also in the Balkans during the Ottoman Empire.

"Definitely check the belief of your kids." this is really important. I'm a born Muslim and I was just a practicing Muslim without questioning my religion until I was around 19. At that time, basically I was desperate with the worldly matter. As I was done with salah I speak to Allah for help. Then, I was scrolling Instagram and found quote from the Quran "But you prefer the worldly life, while the Hereafter is better and more enduring." (87:16-17). And I'm crying. And since that time, although there are ups and downs of Iman, I became so much interested and learned more of this religion. So I can say, that time I became a Muslim by choice rather than just practicing it blindly even though there's no problem with that. But still, what you point out is really important. Thank you.

Absolutely! This is what I think too happens with Muslims who have Muslim parents. At some point, I also remember having that shift of practising because my parents encouraged it, to practising because I was sure that I wanted to be a Muslim. Alhamdulilah I've always believed in Allah but I guess it's only in my teenage hood that I took my faith seriously because I wanted to. My husband is a revert and we often Spean about how although our journey to faith is different, its also similar in that guidance is such a personal matter. Parents, of course, can help facilitate it by teaching us our religion and that is their responsibility but ultimately its Allah who puts the guidance into our hearts.

Thank you for sharing your story. It was a similar journey for me - not in terms of prison, but as far as seeking spiritual guidance after feeling spiritually dead. I was raised Christian but fell into atheism when similar questions could not be answered. In college I began studying religions from around the world out of curiosity, and a brother sent me a free Quran. I knew immediately that something was different.

Just like other prophet (Noah, Lot, Solomon, Abraham, Jesus, etc) he was man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you. Im quoting Act 2.22 here which applies to all the prophet of Gods. In short, Allah assigned the role to him, for him to convey the message to all of mankind. Unlike previous messenger who came for their own people (Jesus-lost sheep of Israel, Lot-people of Sodom)

When I come across revert stories like yours I feel I can't even compete in Iman with contemporary Muslim like you even though I am a born Muslim.
