Omg I stayed at the W and my room was amazing worth every dime my bed floated 😊 and tub was in the middle of my room I love that hotel

The W Hotel is very impressive. As elegant as it is, the views are gorgeous; the negative is extrinsic: It's very hard to walk around Center City after dark. Hasn't changed much over 40 years.

Plenty of parking at the hotel and nearby but expensive on site. Cheaper to park at a garage nearby.

is the W and element connected - and can element guest use W's amenities like pool etc

My room was at the element hotel side of the building and I had no issue going up there on the other side
