Just Happened! SpaceX Flight 5 Starship Unleashed Big Fury. NASA Starliner Safety Warning...
The recent successful static fire test on May 8 marks a significant milestone for SpaceX's Flight 5. After two previous attempts on May 7, recorded as cryogenic testing for the S30, the successful ignition has alleviated any concerns.
Just Happened! SpaceX Flight 5 Starship Unleashed Big Fury. NASA Starliner Safety Warning...
SpaceX's determination to conduct the static fire test remained steadfast, underscoring their commitment to ensuring the readiness of the S30. This successful test is a testament to their dedication to the mission's success.
The preparations for the static fire test on May 8 were meticulous, with the fuel loading process commencing around 10:45 am. As expected, the frost lines appeared, indicating that the liquid oxygen tank was fully loaded, mirroring the second attempt on May 7.

Awesome!
♥️♥️♥️
So is ValveTech the supplier to Boeing of the corroding valves that delayed Starliner for about a year? Do they provide any valves to ULA that are used on the Atlas V? How is an Atlas problem in any way caused by Starliner?
Ready for 4 and testing for flight 5😊 keep it going Elon we want the moon
Everything is ramping up
Poor Boeing, wonder how jealous they are …..
😂😂😂😂
It’s pretty cool and very interesting how the smoke streams and vapor trails always flow in a counter clockwise direction. Just something I tend to notice.
Yeah, SpaceX always know how to make they activities more impressive
Put it under full load and see if it even gets to LEO before it runs out of fuel.
Great suggestion 👍
Static fire for flight 5 before 4th happened? are they planning to launch them almost b2b?
Wow, so impressive
They plan to launch several a day when it's all said and done.
So, what's the status with the FAA's approval for a launch license? We're waaaaiting!
I update this in next episode! Let's follow us
In case you guys didn't know it, we are waiting on flight 4. Duhhhh.
Of course. Flight 4 is planned to take place around late May. Flight 5 will be a month or 2 after that. Space X have planned at least 9 Starship flights this year. The Starship in each flight will have many changes based on what is learnt from the previous flights.
Yeah, this flight is coming
Right after 4 comes 5. My 4yo Granddaughter is willing to tutor, if you need her to.
already moving to build site
What do you mean?
@@colonbina1 hooked up with two point lift and ready to be put on transport stand
I was wrong. 🙄
Flight 4
Click bait title; you forgot to say "test" in your title making it sound like the full flight 5.
I noted this, thanks
Do the fins at the top of the rocket actually serve a purpose?
They move so changing the direction of travel.
👍👍👍
Which is more accurate?
1. Just Happened! SpaceX Flight 5 Starship Unleashed Big Fury
or
2. Just Happened! SpaceX Flight 5 Starship Successful Static Fire
These clickbait titles are disappointing.
I will improve this, thanks your feedback
It makes it look pointier
😯😯😯
What about Flight 4?
I will update this next episode. Let's wait and see
Starship will be upgraded! Its "belly" will be flattened, should be similar to motorboats bottom, because arc belly is the reason why the last time Starship rotated during reentry. I don't know any boat with arc bottom, all are flattened, or equipped with wide skids. Imagine what would happen if we put a pipe, similar in size and diameter to Starship or starship booster, on the surface of the water. It would rotate spontaneously, when wind would blow, because all-round shape can't oppose rotational movement. Tires are round shaped for this reason. Put a floating pipe on water (remember "banana boats" in summer?) stand on it, and try to keep equilibrium. It's hard even if someone sits on it, yes? So why Starship should act differently in atmosphere, not as banana boat on see close to the beach? To starship atmosphere is like water, because its speed is 40000 km/h. If Starship had flat "belly" like a space shuttle, it would be easier to slide over the surface of atmosphere, starship wouldn't rotate, it would be easier to control it, in case of starship to put tiles on it. It would be controllable, what a beautiful word to Elon. Have you ever seen on see surface, close to the beach "banana boat" pulled by motorboat? The "banana boat" is jumping over and over above the water! Looks familiar? Starship did the same during the last reentry, yes? It will take 2-3 months I suppose, to make inevitable structural changes of the starship, so we should not expect that the next Starship launch will be in weeks or days. If yes, maybe for some other reasons, just to show that there is strong will to make progress, not improving its structure and performance. Lost money!
Great suggestion 👍
" Oooh L👀k...a Boeing Jet is getting ready to Land ! "
" Let's watch and See if a Door falls off or Landing Wheels fail... "
I appreciate what Nasa has done, but it's riddiculous that we're spending 4 billion per launch with a SLS rocket, when we could just use Starship that cost 10 million a launch (less than 1% of that cost per launch). The starship will also be able to carry more and go faster/farther. And all that in taxpayer money.
This is the joke, right?
S26 is now testing equipment for testing equipment.
testing the new static fire stand?
Don't know why spacex don't make star space land on side on the moon with landing legs
With 1. 6 gravity it be safer and smarter
are you proposing a horizontal landing profile instead of a vertical one? the current design will land vertically and have landing legs as well as thrusters near the center of mass.
NASA Starliner & Especially
" Boeing " continues delays , and Cost Over Runs = Government Military Industrial Contractors Welfare
Anybody want to take bets on who launches first: Polaris Dawn or Starliner? I would put my money on Polaris.
😂😂😂, so funny
Hmmm... considering that Falcon 9 already exists, the crew dragon capsule already exists and they've already made the new space suits; it seems to me that the only thing standing in their way is approval and a launch window. But what else is new? LOL ;)
Who were the two women partying whilst warning about valves were they a president of valvetech. Im sure nasa appreciate their parners input and flagging disaster possibly caused by a competitors valve.
Get a new valve company!!
'Fail faster' VS. 'Never fails'? Which is more effective in accomplishing all our goals?
I feel like "fail fast" is how a consultant or casual observer watching a team doing iterative development would describe the process. It's definitely not the focus which could be better framed as Build > Test > Learn. Under certain conditions we may expect failure during testing in order to facilitate learning, but it's at most an artifact of an iterative development process.
Ok, possible super critical valve issues, past, present, future. We’re all going to die. No other info except new launch date 5/17…. REALLY!!! Doesn’t connect…
You pronounce simultaneous, simutaneous. There's an L in there you ignore.
😂 every single video. 😂
Cost + is motivation to fail
Starliner is on a fixed cost, not cost plus, contract. Boeing cannot renegotiate to cover increased costs because SpaceX is making billions of dollars of profit even though it was paid only half as much as Boeing. The current test, and the next six production missions, have *already bern paid for* . That means that Boing must carry them out with no further payments from NASA. SpaceX has already budgeted assuming that Boing will fly the 6 production missions to the ISS and Sierra DreamChaser will make cargo deliveries. Specifically SpaceX only has one more Dragon under construction, despite increased commercial demand from Axiom, Polaris, and the UK space agency, among others. A key point is that Boing Starliner, like the Orion capsule and the SLS booster, has only one possible customer, NASA, and that is only because Boing and its partners have BRIBED Congress to extort NASA to buy from Boing.
@@jamescobban857 so what your telling me is boing is losing money. Come on !!
@@jasonaiken2 I am explaining that Boing would lose even *more* money if it did *not* deliver the 7 flights it has *already* been paid for. Furthermore it is still hoping that BO will hire Boing for deliveries to the mythical Orbital Reef space station. If Boing *cancels* the 7 flights it would have to pay NASA over $2B so NASA can buy replacement flights from SpaceX and Sierra. Boing believes that will not cost Boing $2B to deliver those 7 flights. SpaceX has already planned on selling future Crew Dragon missions to other customers. It would actually be inconvenient to SpaceX if Starliner and DreamChaser did *not* succeed, because SpaceX would have to build more Dragons to meet demand.
e-lleviated?!!? What is that? Did you mean "alleviated"? (uh-lee-vee-ate-ed)
Sime you taneously?!!? What is that? Did you mean "simultaneously"? (sigh-mull-tane-ee-us-lee)
I will change this, thanks
Nasa - Starliner - ULA - Please get your 💩💩💩💩together......
So once again with the flowery prose. Don't know who your writer is but they are NOT technically minded. And what's with the selfie of the two ladies. Not to mention the fact that everything in this video is OLD NEWS. Come on your guys, you can do better. Maybe you should get some pointers from Felix and Marcus.
Thanks for your great contribution. We'll take note this and work better in the future
Frankly, I believe it's AI generated. Pitiful.
another excelent Boeing product, NOT
😂😂😂
Boeing should paint it brown because i think it’s the biggest turd they ever built 😂😂
BREAKING NEWS: SpaceX engineers just announced that henceforth, all Starships will dispense with heat shield tiles because, as the engineers said, "Elon prefers to go bareback."
😂😂😂
“Sy-mew-taneously” 🤦🏻♂️
There is an L in the word.
“Sy-mull-taneously”
I noted this, thanks
Boeing sucks!
Mr. Musk is perfect at hyping up something that then collapses like a house of cards.
I heard musk has a green alien friend who gives him his ideas... you must have the same advisor as me... good to meet a fellow intellect.
Yep!! Look at all the failed businesses he hyped, Tesla, Space X, Boring Company, Neuralink, X, Paypal--All failures!!
You of course have examples to prove your stupid comment to be true, right?
Such as???
Sir, you insult the entire castles and houses of cards community with your gross comparison. 🧐🧐🧐
I have seen, with my own eyes, card houses much sturdier then the cybertruck ( for exemple)...and the sadiest part is, im not even joking now! 😐😐😐
I loved your channel, the only one that documents Spacex's routine with the configuration of Subtitles in other languages for those who don't speak English, which I consider absolutely democratic, the basis of journalism and Advertising & Marketing, something I gave up suggesting on X, why not There is interest in this, and CZcams ends up taking us hostage until we can learn the language.
