I learned to bake from my mother. It's the most important thing to me, because she developed celiac and now I can't bake with her, but I can bake by myself and have my own small online business at 15. Thank you momma, for setting my life in place.
Forgive me if I'm being obtuse, but couldn't you still bake with your mother, but just make sure everything in the kitchen is gluten-free? (I'm sure there's a market for gf, too.)
A lot of her recipes are meant to be simple and beginner friendly tho, she’s not trying to come off as some culinary master that makes everything from scratch.

I began baking when I started dieting. I like sweet stuff, but wanted to feel effort in sweets and know what's in them. So I made a deal with myself to only eat sweet stuff I made myself. And I learned sooo much in that year. That baking is not rocket science and that I never ever needed as much sugar, as was contained in store bought cookies for it to taste amazing.
