Between balls I used small curtain rings so the ball sat in them well. I have made many huge and small flowers using fabric. Regular dusting ensures they stay looking great, foam discolours with time. Spray sealant can also aid fabric longevity. ♥️

I want to make all my standing lamps like this ! You did a beautiful job!!! It’s crazy to me that companies that sell these things don’t even think about how beautiful that they really could be. But if they did sell something like this... they would charge way way too much money for it ...so I’m so glad that now I have an idea of what I wanna do. Many years ago I’ll put string lights around one of my standing lamps and it was pretty but I didn’t do a very good job because I was just starting out doing crafting and I had no idea about what I really wanted or how I would go about what I really wanted to do and create. A couple months ago I drove by a house that had a few pieces of nice furniture on the curb in which one of them was a lamp similar to this one. I said now I know I could use it for "something".
