The girl with the cat did such a good job keeping it under control. My cat would create chaos on stage. Great creativity from each of the kids.
The kids are great! All inventions wonderful. Love the cold clappers! Good idea for many sports in high school and college games. My daughter would love a better way to get cats out of carriers at the vet hospital. And as a mum, an easy clean up is a blessing. We need more kid inventions. They have the vision to see what we really need at times.
Yes, they're kids/teens but can we appreciate their simple yet helpful inventions.☺

These kids r so cool & smart
It took me a while to figure out the cat one. I think when you pull out the shelf it pulls the back wall in, essentially pushing the cat out. The camera should have pointed inside the crate. From our view it just looked like she pulled out a piece of gray cardboard.
Thank you for your comment! I'll watch it again because I thought that invention didn't make sense because I hadn't seen the wall pushing forward.

I can help but wonder if we had better parental leave in this country then this would not be the case….if both men and women can participate in early care of their children less would fall on women often forced to leave the workforce because of high costs of early childcare as well.
@@jacobhall1488 speaking as a STEM woman who loves her career, this is still not always the case, many STEM jobs barely cover the costs of childcare (many women of childbearing age in science fields are barely finishing a graduate degree or post-doc making very little). I don’t have any desire at all to not work, nor do I have a choice either since we absolutely need both our salaries to cover our expenses that include insane costs of childcare. Society, economics, and even evolution play a much bigger role than you seem to be considering here. You and I are one example each. I am sure there are many dads out there (and there are) that want to stay home with their kids and now that this is getting more normalized in society are doing just that (especially if the woman is the breadwinner of the household). I think we as humans are so diverse that it is usually a really bad idea to generalize. This issue is quite complex and there are ways to help improve the numbers of women staying in careers. Even if you want to look at nature as a whole, there are many examples of nurturing fathers in the animal kingdom.

She needs to invent that silver slide-out with hand and arm protectors too! A most definite potential OUCH situation if the car was angry. My son is about to fly across the country. Taking girlfriend cat in a carrier on the flight. I told him to research if Dramamine is safe for cats. I wouldn't want to be sitting next to him on that long plane ride with an angry hissing cat!!!
