This was such an underrated track from her Greatest Hits album. She had great chemistry with Enrique. You should check out “Same Script, Different Cast” from her Greatest Hits album as well. It’s a duet with Deborah Cox (a completely underrated R&B singer popular in the late 90s/early 2000s) and it’s an absolutely 🔥 track!

One of my favorite Whitney duets and songs overall. Very underrated in her catalog of great music. It didn't do well in the US, but was a banger in Europe.

Hi Jack , I read when this came out back in the day that Whitney laid down her Vocals for this over the phone as she was not in the same place as Enrique at the time . During these years one could say it was during her decline but her vocals were potent ,piercing, full ,rich and outstanding . She will forever be the Greatest Female Vocalist.

For me, it’s a NO. That song was sung in 1995 when her voice was in noticeable decline. Whitney was mesmerizing in the late 80’, early 90s (until 92).

@@jokina9289 that's a lie I remember being a kid and hearing that song playing on the radio in 1996/1997 and the hairs on my arms would stand up that whole album was the truth nothing was wrong with her voice in that era she could still sing and belt and hit her famous head voice notes I love that era of her that's one of my favorites.

The iCONIC JACK groove!(Dem SHOULDERS tho! 🤣) -- This is one of my FAV duets. Crazy how it did well everywhere EXCEPT the U.S. (chart-wise) but it's a fan fave! And sadly this is the only latin'esque Whitney track. But "I'm Your Baby Tonight" should be next on your list. (It's on the 89-90 cusp of New Jack Swing, the video is diff for her, and the vocals are 🔥 of course)
So happy to see this on the channel. I love Whitney duets/collaborations. You can never go wrong no matter which one you choose. The chemistry evidenced in both the song and video is really something we don't get to hear enough of these days, which is a damn shame. I grew up an Enrique fan as well, he had all the hits during my middle-high school years.

This was my favorite song from her greatest hits album but I was so sad that it wasn't on the VHS and DVD but she they made the music video in July but the album was released in may 2000 and the DVD features all of her music videos from the 1985-1998 and it also features my favorite song my love is your love which I want Jack to react to next please.
