I’m a GC who was doing roofing up until the pandemic put us out of business. We are now starting in concrete. I’m learning our local pricing now and so far it seems to be more opportunities than roofing. This video is a big help in getting started..thanks

How much actual construction skills and trade, materials knowledge do you have? Do you have the personal abilities to do the actual job, the worked entailed?
I’m genuinely curious why that matters? I have the knowledge to market, sell, and manages teams of people who can do the work. I own a company that does $4,000,000 a year. I don’t want to be a concrete finisher I want to own a business lol?

What are the downs in concrete in your opinion ?
Super competitive, tons of low bidders, can’t repair it very easily, lots of issues but nothings perfect lol
Good points…..I’ll have to sub out the labor for a while which hurts my competitiveness. I’m getting a lot of stamped patio requests. I’m in the price learning phase right now. I’ve been pricing between 17 & 21 per SF. We’ve been marketing for about a month and haven’t landed a job yet.
