  • Suitable for absolute beginners to wire working.
    The Triquetra has been used certainly in the British Isles for at least 2500 years. It has a number of different interpretations, but is well known in Celtic Knotwork, which tends to be endless. Also the interlocking of Three is highly symobolic.
    This tutorial is extremely easy and accessible for everyone, perfect suited to total beginners.
    I've used 1mm gauge copper core wire for this design, you can use lighter wire for earrings, and I'd recommend 0.4mm gauge wire if adding seed or micro beads.

    This is by far the best tutorial I’ve seen!! I’ve recently been learning how to cut and polish Labradorite and I was looking for a good tutorial so that I would be able to incorporate my stones in the centre. I can’t wait to give it a try😊 I have subscribed to your channel and I am looking forward to seeing more great tutorials ♥️♥️

    Excellent video! I’d like to ask you how you finish it with the bail for an earring or as a pendant, considering you have the two wires at the end …

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  Před rokem

      I usually take the shorter wire, wrap it or 2 turns around the longer wire Nd then create a wrapped loop with the remaining wire (small for earrings and large for earrings or wall Décor) xxx

  • @LunaWitch023
    @LunaWitch023 Před 2 lety +1

    If you want to make the pendant smaller, would you use the same length of wire or make it shorter?

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes you can reduce the length of the wire but I'm sure you'll find use for the offcuts anyway :-)

  • @lauresa10
    @lauresa10 Před 2 lety +1

    Hello, again. Since these are formed by bending the wire, Would there be any benefit to too hardening the wire with hammering or something to that effect to keep it from bending beyond What the style intends?

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  Před 2 lety +1

      You can gently tap the out edges of the form as long as you're not hammering anywhere the wires cross over xxx
