Great guide ! I have been using that version of Desmume for a while now. Completely eliminates the horrible black dots that no doubt most people have experienced. I only difference in my settings is I don't use the antialiseing. At least on Heart gold you get a slight blur around character and npc models.

I have been doing this with Drastic on android, on an 11" tablet with a stylus and and ipega 9083 gamepad. Its just amazing, I can't figure out what resolution it's actually running at but it looks damn good on a 1440p screen with all the upscaling and AA. Being that you can play it this way, I can't imagine ever wanting to play on a little Nintendo DS

Great Video thanks you. But I actually have one question, whenever I speed up the emulator a little bit of text pops up and shows the fps, is there any way to turn of these messages, so it just speeds up or slowes down without any text on screen

I love this tutorial! It is very easy to follow! The only question I have is when I speed up, I keep getting the message "Target FPS up to 4000". Is there anyway to turn that off? Sorry if it has been answered, I followed the tutorial section, but it still won't go away.
I found that if you go to Tools>Show Console, and uncheck it, that the messages stop appearing

The graphics look great, but the music is a bit laggy now, even after doing everything else. Any tips?

1:all of the games that i play on desmume seem really bright even on the lowest brightness settings of my pc do you have something to fix that? a setting?
2: what's the post process shader and how can I use them?

So I was playing Pokemon mystery dungeon explorers of darkness , ..when I entered the first dungeon my screen went dark , u can play the game but u cant see the background graphics it's turned black .. somehow so if someone can help me fix it .. desume emulator aswell

Hey Moxi did you Manage to hide the text that pops up when you fast-forward the game and change to unlimited FPS? the big white text is kinda an eyesore would love to know if you can remove it?
To my knowledge you can't remove it BUT you can adjust it to make it smaller. Go to View -> HUD -> Set Font and pick one of the smaller ones to make it less visible
Somehow i can not select any of the Magnification Filters.... Any help please?

Im having a bad issue where as soon as I close desume, the settings don't save and I have to do it all again. Has that happened with anyone else? I booted up w2 and it created a bunch of stuff on my homescreen and I don't know how to fix that.

Irrelevant to the video... But which of the difficulty modes do you recommend for a first playthrough of Unbound? The game is sick so I wanna give it a play.
@@kylemckell I’m personally playing on insane since I’ve watched a few people play through parts of the game so I kinda had a feel for it. I’d probably recommend one of the lower difficulties tho because the early battles like volcano tag are rough on insane mode. Early game purgatory is definitely a thing.

But i got a desplay bug that i can't seem to fix : the buttons and thumbnails in game do not appear in this version of Desmume :( do you have any idea of what's happening ?
I checked and it works fine on other versions of Desmume, but on these the video quality is sooo so low compared to X432R...
Whoops, well, just found out how to fix it XD
I launched the rom without changing the original emulator settings and then changed them one by one, turns out it was the first thing (use dynamic recomplier) that was the problem !

How did you set up the screen to go side by side? Mine is top and bottom and is kinda small, i want it to take up more of my screen.
If you go to view and click horizontal it makes it side by side

everything works perfect except I get a lot of audio glitches. do you know what this could be? also, is there any way to disable hotkeys when tabbed out of the window? the original desmume didn't have that issue so I'm not sure how to fix it :(
a ton of other stuff is buggy now to the point where games are unplayable :/ I'm trying to play wild world and the bg of the map doesn't show up, text options when I try to save only show up half the time and freeze on that screen so there's no way to save if it happens, tons of audio glitches and horrible noises, etc. Not sure what I did wrong?
@sososleeepy For the audio, put Dual SPU Synch/Asynch (traditional) and for interpolation : cosine(slowest, sounds best)

The Config window is much smaller and I cant find the High Resolution 3D Renderer or the fast-Forward/Slow Motion Speed Limit selections anywhere. Mine stops at Display Method

for some reason im not able to use cheats with this version. is there any reason for that?
It definitely runs better than the other version but I get bad slowdown when I stream it. Pc skill issue? 8gbs
probaly streaming is quite tough on ram i would get 16gb prices are dropping rn so its not that ban

Did you get the latest version in the description, and what graphics card do you have? I think it may not be available for some older cards.

Yep as far as I know it's the latest version. If I find any newer versions I'll definitely update the link

Dude there's a giant rom or something in the download, makes it take ages. Also, I believe x432r is no longer needed thanks to the latest version of desmume? Worth having a look I think.
