- My friend told me about some great Japanese food available at a restaurant in Chinatown Las Vegas called Ton Shou Premium Katsui. It's been a while since I've had some good Japanese food so I made my way to Ton Shou. I'm looking to trying a lot of food because

The video, audio and your review was GREAT. The Kamameshi Gyu and Katsu Curry dishes are favorites for me. Japanese Sandos always cut off the crust so it is easy to eat. As always a BIG Mahalo to you Shin!

Hi Shin! Loved the video as were huge fans of katsu. Your reaction to the Gyu Meshi sealed the deal for us. Adding this place to our never ending list of eats. Audio and video quality were great! Yes, lots of panko breaded fried items here and the sandwiches are very similar. But I like the simple menu with a focus on the quality. I do think their Izakaya hours have a lot more options available as well. I'm glad the new recording system seems to be working well. Thanks for watching!
You have to love Panko bread crumbs. You could put those on practically anything and it would be crisp and tasty. Your new camera set up seems to be picking up every detail. Thanks for the video.

I really didn't notice a huge change in your recording or sound. Looked great. I love this food. Japanese is one of my favorite's since as a young woman I spent a couple years on the island of Guam which at that time was a vaca destination for Japanese newly weds. I love chicken kaarage and make it often. So simple and savory. I prefer a breading vs a batter coating. YUM. Agree with you on the sando's, just looked ok. I have one word for you yum I've never had green milk bread before it looked interesting the pork sandwich and the chicken sandwich looked good and of course that smile at the end when you ate the steak and noodles well of course it was delicious love the Tuesday videos ❤😊

VWS: The restaurant's presentation, cleanliness, and preparation reminded me of Tokyo restaurants. However, prices in Tokyo are so much cheaper. Looks like you got free ice cream & soda ?? I always love a good katsu. I definitely want to try this place out. And I'm just starting to like Japanese egg salad sandwiches and I would love to try that with a katsu. I would love to see the Izakaya side one day as well

Looked great! Too bad the curry wasn’t better. I love Japanese curry! Gotta try the Gyu Meshi! Looked so good. The new system video quality looks a little soft. Audio sounds fine.
Yeah, I was kind of expecting that to be the curry for an added $5.00 so it hit expectations. Not that it was bad, but just not the best. Gyu meshi was so good. I tried messing with the video settings myself this time around following some CZcams videos but I don't think I have a very good videographer's eye. I think I'll just let the system set on auto and do it on it's own next time and see how it is. Thanks for watching!

The audio is fine, video looks good but maybe you'll have to into the settings to get most of your new camera. I'm sure you can find CZcams videos on how to make your footage look better with that camera of yours.
So this was me trying to adjust some settings but I don't know if I have a great videographer's eye. I think next time, I'm just going to press auto and see if it's better lol. Thanks for the input!
If you look up this restaurant on Yelp, the menu prices are more expensive. I’m assuming this is the take out price. Sando’s according to Shin’s receipt was $13.95…it’s almost 3 or 4 dollars more on Yelp.
Maybe there's a difference between the lunch time price and the night time izakaya time price? I'm not too sure. Thanks for watching!

The menchi skewer seems out of place. Seems like when menchi katsu is shaped like a hockey puck it retains more flavor. Surprised they didn’t have a wagyu katsu sando that seems to be the rage for the last few years. The eggs in the gyudon seemed overcooked since Japanese people love raw eggs. Prices are very reasonable here
I actually liked that they weren't doing the wagyu stuff and focused on good quality comfort food. The eggs in the gyudon were exactly how I had them in Japan, very fluffy and soaked up a lot of that gyutan sauce. For Vegas especially, I thought the prices were fair. Thanks for watching!

I really hope this place is truly delicious. The other competitor Katsu Ya Ton Ton was a huge letdown. Glad to hear they know how to fry their stuff and keep things juicy.
How full is your to go fridge right now?
I keep hearing Ton Ton is the best in Vegas though I haven't personally been there yet. But I certainly liked the food at Ton Shou. My fridge was pretty full at the start of yesterday, but I cleared out a lot of what I got from Ton Shou throughout most of yesterday so now it's not looking too bad.
