This is a magnificent bridge I live in the state of Virginia I love going to Virginia Beach but I love taking the trip on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel going through the bridge and everything is awesome I love it it's excitement from me I went last year 2020 hopefully I'll go this summer 2021 Virginia is for Lovers who's with me in 2021
This was the coolest drive ever! Did it a few times, but would absolutely love to do this on a summer night during a full moon and not a cloud in the sky! Have to admit though the first time I drove this seeing the roadway look like it’s disappearing under water gets your attention!
I’m getting anxiety just watching this. I was on a bus to Virginia and woke up to us sitting. I looked up and saw the water and almost passed out. This bridge freaks me out so much.
Thank you! I came across the name of this bridge while on google and couldn't understand how it was a Bridge-Tunnel. I'm in Michigan and we have one or the other. Lol In Detroit you have a choice to do one or the other to get to Canada. This explains everything. Thank you! Amazing infrastructure!
I used to ride across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel when I was stationed aboard my first ship in the Navy in Norfolk,VA. I was stationed aboard the USS Seattle AOE- during my first enlistment in the Navy. I used to go home on weekends th when I didn’t have duty. A lot of active duty Navy sailors in Norfolk were weekend commuters. Many traveled across the Chesapeake Bay on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
I've never been on this bridge so thank you for recording it and taking us along for the ride and seeing it thru your eyes. I felt like I was in your car right there with you. 😊

I drove through the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel for four years, while a graduate school student at University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Princess Anne, Md.😁🚘
Was going through the tunnel 1 time when the aircraft carrier ENTERPRISE was going through so we stopped at one of the island parking areas and watched her as she was going out to sea from Norfolk Naval base.
Did this for over 6 yrs back and forth to New York, I had to get used to it!!

I crossed the bridge on Friday 5-19-23 for the first time and it was an amazing experience 💯💯😎😎🙏🏾🙏🏾

I was on submarines then navigator and drove a 1956 two tone brown chevy nomad towing a 31 model A to my brothers place in Delaware
