This is proof that champions have an aura. Once it’s taken away, they are exposed and won’t be the same. Both the opponents and the fighter himself can see and feel it.

Not really, UFC is notorious for giving fighters the edge, they put a bunch of strikers against wrestlers or stronger guys we know are weaker! Usman had a couple decent victories but realistically he fought a good amount of weak fighters who he could beat from wrestling…….

I really don’t think he did anything other than rely on his already existing takedown defence. Elevation gave Usman a huge advatnage and Leon ran out of energy quicker from the lack of oxygen.

@@wiibbz he doesnt wrestle anymore because he doesnt have the conditioning. he also fell in love with his striking and he walks forward after getting hit like the korean zombie. His reflexes and quickness have greatly declined and his takedown attempts are very poorly timed. His better days are behind him. He had a good run while it lasted.

This was not the Usman we're all use to seeing, he was exhausted and sluggish but still pressed forward every round.
My guess is he's not in his best form right now but wont ever put an excuse on the table, if he was who he was last fight, this is as one sided as it should of been

3 years ago, I couldn't stand usman..... but even know in defeat, i have more respect for him than ever. He is and will always be one the best ro ever do it. From foot stomping to knock out of the year..... even after the second colby fight, still shook his hand and was respectful.

I'm Nigerian but truth be told Leon won all five rounds. He was simply the superior fighter and it showed.
He didn't win all five rounds, cut the bs. He certainly won more rounds and was the better fighter on the night.
